No, SD stands for Secure Digital not SanDisk so the memory stick you use in your PSP will not work with the Wii.

Unless you plan on downloading A LOT of games and content, or if you will want to take your data everywhere (Although the wii is just about as portable as an SD Card, hahaha) then the SD card is pretty useless.

Nice to know it does take portable media, but whats the point? I dont know anyone with a Wii and I probarbly wont DL any games (I say that now, does it have space invaders? ). If I ever run out of space then its nice to know there is the slot for SD.
