Off topic: Is it true the PS3 is going be able to have 8 (6?) people playing at once?

the Wii isn't for little kids...Nintendo is trying to make it fun and a lot of adults (Like Game Designers) are probably going to have a Wii because it is fun.
The ps3 has 7 USB ports, so some games can hold up to 7 people, Like NBA 2k7.

Also, the wii, worldwide, will have 11-12 million consoles out by the end of the year. So if they sell all those, they are basicly already caught up with xbox 360. And it is obviouse they will sell more thent he ps3, just because of the price and they are releasing like, 5x the amount of them on launch day.

According to the November 2006 issue of Play magazine, more than 30 Wii titles will see a release by year's end. Nintendo of America's president Reggie Fils-Amis stated that 15 titles will be available on the console's launch, which will hit America first, on November 19th.

Nintendo also announced the creation of Wii "channels", which will be a series of options people can access through the game console. The Reginator called these channels a pied piper of sorts. "We believe it can alter the relationship between everyone in the household and their TV screen. It's not just a virtual console, but a total effort to redefine who will use video games in the future", he said.

I will hopefully get a Wii beteween the release date and Christmas, I really want to play the new Zelda. I had my doubts about Nintendo after the Gamecube, but this looks like a groundbreaking system. I wont be getting a PS3 untill a price drop or MGS4 come out (that could be a while).
