Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (wii)

Another great launch title for the wii. I think it will be great. I love old school metroid games, and enjoyed the ones on gamecube. I think it will be great with the wiimote.

Discuss.

This looks like a promising game, especially with the features of the Wii remote:

Aiming and shooting should be fun. It will be interesting to see how the aiming works in comparion with the actual hit detection. Will the blast actually go where you aim, and how hard will you have to try to actually aim for a certain object/enemy?

Metroid always has a good story line to go along with the great gameplay as well. I really enjoyed the first Metroid on the Gamecube, so I'm sure this one will be just as good.

Instead of having to lock on most of the time like on the gamecube. You just aim with the wiimote, with the motion sensing, Cross hairs will be on your screen and your blasts go right towards where you aim. So now you are more mobile when trying to shoot enemies causs on the gamecube games, when you attempt to lock on/shoot enemies you are restricted of several movements that you can do.

And since the wii will more more powerfull then the gamecube obviously. We prolly wont have to wait for the doors to open. Causs in the gamecube version when you shoot the door it loads the next area, when it is done loading the door opens. We should expect not to see any more of these loading times.
