That galaxy is a favorite of two members of my family, as well! I have enjoyed the Dusty Dunes Galaxy to this point! I currently am at 40 stars!

^^^ BUMP ^^^
***SEMI-SPOILER***
I "beat" Super Mario Galaxy last night (Sunday) and thought that the "ending" was pretty worthwhile. Once I obtained my 60th star, I was given the option to seek my "special one". Seeing as that my son kept yelling, "Go save Peach", I felt that I would let him down if I did not save her. Once you fly to Bowser's Galaxy, you are hit with a few difficult tasks before you get to him. After you beat Bowser, you get the ending and more of the storybook. After that is all done, the game explains that there are still 60 more stars (Creep had told me this some time ago). The story also hints to there being a "2nd" part to the story. I will now continue to seek out what the other half is and update you all when I find out!

Reason: No need to apologize, just "bump" it...

I just got a Wii for my birthday and this is one hell of a fun game. TOTAL brainless activity = happy Boba.

I really need to get around to conquering this game once and for all... then I can trade it in while the value is still high.

Boba - This game only gets better as you get through it. The worlds get more creative and the challenges get harder! It is a ton of fun!

Well, I played for a little while today... got close to 50 stars now... just means I am that much closer to conquering it, and eventually trading it in.

Once i got the 60 required stars and saw the ending (which wasn't bad or anything) I somehow lost my motivation to play. Do you guys think it's worth it to get all 150 (i think) stars?

Personally, I found the ending to be a total letdown. On my all time list of cheesiest endings, this game's ending is somewhere in the top three.
I traded my copy of SMG in this afternoon, and I wound up getting $34.45 in store credit... if the ending was even remotely better, I probably would have tried collecting all of the stars.

Eh, Mario games are more about gameplay imo.

Not a bad trade in value Creep. I'm still holding out with my 70ish stars for 2 reasons.....
1) It amazes me just how many different planets/galaxies/whatever keep popping up. It's like a new game with every star and that excites me.
2) I'm still hoping that the chick who reads the stories can tuck me in with a happy ending when I completely complete the game.
