Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker.
Everybody talks about the Non-cartoony ones, but this one stole countless hours just as the others did.
Sure, I had to rid a talking boat FOREVER to get where I was going, but I just loved the game and want to play it right now.
(but I sold it and my gamecube)
So Why is this game not as talked about as the others? Because it was cartoony?
I personally played this game about half as much as I did OoT, but....still loved it.

Well, the cartoony look was a little bit of a turn off, but it still wasnt a bad game, I kinda want to go buy it again causs I never did finish it. But, the story and all just wasnt as good as the other ones. And I would rather play AS link and not some kid dressed up as him.
It wasnt a bad game its just OoT was a lot better, and it just cant compete with it. Its so hard for nintendo causs they made such an awsome game, and now people expect better, but its just so hard.
OoT Got a perfect rating at sites like gamespot, and ign, one of the only few games that got perfect ratings.

I would have bought this game but I didn't get my GameCube until a few months ago. Right now I am currently playing Resident Evil 4 and a couple other titles...but that is besides the point. From what I have heard, and from what you guys have stated, the cartoon look turned off alot of people and the GameCube wasn't as big as the PS2 or the XBOX so alot of great titles went unnoticed.

I still have this game. It doesn't compare to OoT at all, but it's still an entertaining game. It's pretty short, it can be beat easily. I didn't like playing a kid just dressed up as Link, as Zero said, but the overall game was pretty good.

I liked WW, however there's NO temples/dungeons at ALL. I also want to say, MM is the best Zelda, of all time. OoT is good, for some reason MM was just more appealing, hell I still play it. I have the collectors edition for my GC.. and I have to say, it's my most played GC game. RE4 is also one of the best games I've played

i really wasn't drawn to this as much as OoT or Majora's Mask, what really put me off was the cartoon-like graphics, and that stupid *** boat, more than half of the game is sailing.. so dumb

Personally, I liked the cartoony (technically, it should be defined as cell shaded) look of Wind Waker... I would have played OoT and MM as much as I played WW if they looked as visually appealing as WW did.
OoT and MM had better storylines, but they looked like warm vomit compared to the most recent Zelda game. Once Nintendo releases Twilight Princess, that will most likely be the best game of the storied franchise.

I downloaded a couple of videos from IGN and Twilight Princess looks sick. It looks like it has a OOT feel to it (just by how you go about things while wandering the world) and...and...and I JUST CAN'T WAIT
Sorry to get excited like this.

Well the only problem I had with the game is your not link. Other then that it was an OK game. The cartoony look was a little of a turn off but you get over it fast.

Nothing to be sorry about, Pre... I was probably just as excited from just seeing pictures of the game months ago.
