Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Ok, just if anyone didnt know, that if you like zelda games, and are not going to pick up to the wii, or atleast not right away. They are going to be released on BOTH the gamecube and the wii on the same date. (Which is the launch of the wii)
But, post your opinions on the game
I think it will be just, amazing.
But also I think they should do a Legend of Zelda: OoT remake.

I think the only problem with Ocarina of Time was its slow gameplay. The inability to jump and the single joystick of the N64 remotes limited your ability to pwn. Dual joysticks like the ones found on this generation of systems (i.e. the PS2, XBOX, and GC) are fantastic and I hope Twilight Princess restores the good name of Zelda.

This game should show the possibilities of the Wiimote at its best, with the use of arrows, fishing, sword, etc. The only downside is that they recently announced that the game (along with some others) will not have dual controller use, meaning if you buy the version for the Wii controller, there is no compatability for the gamecube controller. The same goes for the other way around.

Yah but the wiimote shouldnt get in the way too much due to the fact that it is used just like a controller. With the analog stick to move link around and the button to slash your sword with. You will not be slashing around the wiimote like an idiot. You push a button. The only thing the wiimote will use in motion sensing in close quarters combat is if you push it forward link will knock his opponent with his sheild to knock him back/unconcious and a few other things like that. And the point and shoot thing swith the arrows, and boomarang. Then obviously with the fishing. So it isnt soley based around the motion sensing during combat and etc. It is a well rounded game and should appeal to both audiences who, dont like the wiimote (It shouldnt force you to move around that much), and the people who enjoy it.

I suppose I can't wrap my mind around the Wiimote concept.
But I've loved all of the LoZ games.....Played through OoT like, 6 times, and bought a gamecube, played and beat Wind Waker(?) and then didn't use the cube at all.....and then sold it for like....70$.
I guess I'll spend however much for a Wii.

It will be 200-250 bucks for the wii. Which is more then reasonable.

You CAN use the classic style wii controller, or a gamecube controller on some games. But NOT for zelda. The zelda for the wii consoles can ONLY be played with the wiimote. It wont support the feature of playing it with the other controllers. If you want to play zelda with a gamecube controller, they are releasing zelda for bother consoles.

I loved Ocarina of Time (probably my favorite game) but I was kind of disapointed with Majoras Mask and Windwaker. Hopefully this will be an awesome game like OoT and I havent decided if I should just get a GC for like 50 bucks (never had one) or get a Wii.
