I beat it with 18 hearts in a little over 37 hours. Good game.

I waited oh so long for it to come out for the GC. Nintendo really grinded my gears when they held it off for GC so wii could sell more. Now thats its finally out for the GC (a little over a month) i beat it by playing it every wekk <--45 hours and i got every single heart piece. I must say the bosses where extremely easy and the real challenge was in the dungeon structures. I loved the ending...Its worth the money for a zelda vet and a zelda newcomer.

On that note, I am boycotting Nintendo for their witholding Twilight Princess. I had a reserved copy paid in full for the original release date, which happened to be my eighteenth birthday. In order to play this copy, I bought a Game Cube for the sole purpose of Twilight Princess. I have a Game Cube that has never been played now. I own the released Game Cube version, but still have not played it. So, before I do, should I wait for the Wii version, or should I go ahead and play it for the stupid purple cube?

Just play it. The experience is much more on the Wii, but the game is still the same. A few light shaders aren't there and the graphics aren't as good, but not too far behind. Play it, live it, Zelda it.

Forget the Wii dude. I played it on both (but own and beat the game for gamecube) and don't think you lose out by playing it on gamecube.
