I'm actually quite excited about this system just because it's going to be a fresh start for Nintendo and the game Red Steel looks really awesome. What do you think?

I'm more excited about this console than I was about the 360 or the PS3. For the entry price and the innovative looking features, I think this will be the only "next gen" console I might purchase.
I'm not sure if I'm going to get any, as I know plenty of people that will have them, so for my limited gaming time I might be able to leech off of them. We'll see, but I'm definitely excited.
I also hope that this console puts Nintendo back on top, since I think they deserve it. I owned a PS2 and never a GameCube, but I love Nintendo none-the-less. Give me something worth buying, and Nintendo will once again get my money; especially since they'll let me play the old games again.

Not really. I don't find the functionality of a motion sensitive controller that appealing. It just dosen't seem natural to swing a controler around. I'll probably end up breaking something. Scratch that, I WILL break something.
But old school games always have their plus, and if Solid Snake is going to appear in a Wii game, that might just be enough of a reason to buy it.
What I'm going to do is just sit back, wait for all the Net gen's to come out, then decide.

As good as the Ps3 may seem, I will definitly consider buying the Wii before the Ps3 (If I even purchase a Ps3). I am not a big fan of the controller, but I too have always been a big fan of Nintendo. Hopefully the Wii will offer a wide variety of retro/old nintendo games that users can play, since I have enjoyed the older versions of a lot of games (Mario series, etc..).

I honestly think this is the best way to go, before running out to purchase a next generation console, and then regretting you should have gotten the other one. I'll do my homework on each system, get plenty of reviews from people that have played each, and most importantly, choose the one that has the games that appeal to me the most.

Nintendo is probably going to get my money, and a few of my friends. I've had so much fun playing Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party on N64 this summer I just have to do it. I like the games that are going to come out, as well as the innovation in more than just graphics, nothing really shocks me about the PS3.

I still believe the nintendo Wii will sell the most. People think they are worthless and not going to do anything. But I have a feeling the wii will be more popular then some think.
And you dont have to use the motion sensing on all games, you get a normal controller too
^ Just some people think if they get it they have to use the wiimote at all times.
Either way, I already got the wii, and 4 games reservers/payed off
Im getting Metroid Prime, Zelda, Super Smash Brothers, and Mario at launch.

Yeah not all people know that many games will be compatible with a gamecube controller. Also Super Smash Bros is going to be online and that's just awesome.

yup. They give you a classic style controller, sort of to enjoy the old games, and to also play on it with the new games. And the gamecube controllers was said to work. So you cant really complain about the wiimote, although it is going to be kick ***.
