Where does Mario Galaxy rank?
Where do you guys think this Mario game ranks in the top Mario games?

I ranked it as Number third on my blog; I was wondering what others think, where you guys might put it.

My favorite Mario games go like this:

Super Mario RPG
Super Mario Bros 3
Super Mario 64
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Sunshine

They are all fantastic games however. Geno FTW.

Super Mario (nes)
Super Mario 3 (nes)
Super Mario 64(nintendo 64)
Super Mario Galaxy (wii)
Super Mario Sunshine (gamecube)

all these games are mario 100 % i think and follow an amazing evollution in the saga.

i just got a wii today (for tatsunuko vs capcom) i also bought mario galaxy while i was at it . deffinetly my favoritemario game ,but mario 64 is real closei imo

Depends if you are just talking about Mario as a platformer or are including games like Mario Kart, Golf, Party, etc.

1) Super Mario World
2) Super Mario RPG
3) Super Mario Bros. 3

While I own Galaxy I haven't played all the way through it so am unable to properly give it a ranking.

Galaxy was a good game, but not the best in the series. If you count all Mario games, then I'd say Super Mario RPG was the best. Then Super Mario Bro's 3 and then Super Mario 64. I would probably rank Galaxy after those though.
