| Where I found my Wii Well, the Wii we have belongs to my partner and here is his Wii story. . . .
He was looking everywhere for one himself. He called everywhere and of course the response usually was, "No, we just sold out of them today." So he continued his search for about 3 weeks and one of his last calls was to ShopKo. He asked for the electronics department and then he asked his robotic question, "Do you have any Wii's?" What he heard made him stumble a bit, "Yes, we have 4 of them." His immediate response was, "Don't sell them, I will be right there!!!" He hung up the phone and told his sister about the good news. They both headed out to ShopKo to get them. The store was about 25 minutes away from his house, but it only took him 5 minutes to get there. LOL. He parked as close to the store as he could and almost ran inside with his sister in tow. He mentioned to me that a elderly lady was walking right in front of him slowing his progress and he said if she hadn't have moved in the last minute, he would have ran her over. LOL. Now that is dedication. They arrived in the electronics department and asked again if they had any Wii's, in which the lady said, "Yes we do." When he told her that he would take two of them her mouth dropped and everyone in the department watched the whole transaction take place. It was like he was taking the crown jewels from Her Majesty.
I agree with the previous posted message, Best Buy has been the one retailer who seems to get them in regularly. If you have a friend that works at one of these places, they can tell you when they are coming in as well.
Hope you enjoyed my story of our Wii purchase. |
