Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was without a doubt a commercial success, with over eight million unit's sold overall. It's what made this truly epic piece so successful...and what makes it's successor look so promising to fans everywhere. From new weapons and gadgets to a new versatile, riveting landscape, How could it's developer, Ubisoft, create anything to surpass it? Well, they may have accomplished this with Assassin's Creed: Revelations. How you ask? Well, I'm here to enlighten you today.

While the basis may be identical and uncanny to it's predecessor, the game features many new weapons, useful gadgets, innovated structures, and most of all, the ability to play as both Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze together. Two key faces in the Assassin's Creed series in one game? Too exciting for words. But let us get to the real reason you're here.

    Weapons
Ahh yes, the key that allows our assassin friends to do what they do best, slay the Templar slime. Like Brotherhood, Revelations will introduce some new, exciting weapons for us to enjoy. The most exciting one I can think of at this moment is the new Hookblade. This weapon will allow Ezio to zipline to any part of the city (within physical laws of course), making travel quick and easy. Fun right? But wait! There is more. The hookblade will also allow Ezio to flip his enemies over to avoid conflicts, even swinging up vertical surfaces will be easier than climbing. For in-combat usage, this tool will be useful in pulling in enemies for a swift, close-range attack.
That's not the only new weapon being introduced. A new crafting system for the creation of over 300 different types of bombs. Explosions? Yes please.
