So here we are.. Only a couple days away from our new U.S. President.
I hear the networks are doing a 72 hour blitz leading up to it tomorrow.. Like as if its the Super Bowl or something.
Everybody keeps talking all this "he's gonna get assassinated" crap. Not sure if most people realize how severely worse that would be for our nation if it did happen. (which most likely wont with the incredible amount of security they have planned for Tuesday)
First off, there would probably be riots like we've never seen. Worse then MLK. #2 Biden would be our President.. I dont know about you guys, but this dude still creeps me out. We could forget about all the "change" and "dreams" Obama had planned. Im pretty sure Biden would keep things mostly the same...no big changes. He would be much more conservative & probably protect the rich more. Infact, im sure most Republicans would rather have Biden as our President.
Obama's recent speeches have been pretty boring..but this is a good one from Obama today. Worth watching. ( even if your a republican )
He is not going to get assassinated... the people who would want to assassinate him are too dumb to be able to pull it off! The people who are smart enough to pull something like that off are smart enough to know NOT to assassinate him. Simple as that.
There is still some ignorant racist who will try and do something. Even if they do not succeed, they still interrupt one of the most historic moments in the modern US history.
We have shortened periods on Tuesday because everyone will be watching the inauguration as a school. Everyone is going to report to their second period class when it starts. I'm pretty shocked my school is doing this, its no doubt a pretty historic day, but I never imagined them doing this.
I couldn't really care less about the inauguration other than the fact that I'm curious about how many people will be cheering while wearing soiled adult diapers and that George Bush will finally be gone. Just like with the election I'll be as far away from the TV / Computer / Radio as I possibly can. Hopefully, the madness and excitement will calm down and not be a distraction so he can start getting this country back on track asap.

This is what happened in 2008 alone.
- Number Of U.S. Troops Killed in Iraq: 322.
- Number Of U.S. Troops Killed in Afghanistan: 151.
- Number Of Jobs Lost: 1.9 million.
- Number Of Banks Federal Government Now Owns Stock In: 206.
- Number Of Uninsured Americans: 47.5 million.
- Change In Housing Prices: declined 18 percent.
- Change In Health Insurance Premiums: increased 5 percent.
- Change In Number Of Delinquent Mortgages: increased 75 percent.
- Change In Use Of Food Stamps: increased 17 percent.
- Change In Dow Jones Industrial Average: declined 35 percent.
- Change In Bush Approval Rating: declined 9 percent to 29 percent.
Enough with this "change" crap. Of course he will bring change, but how do you know it will be good change?
I'm so sick of everyone putting all their eggs into one basket before the damned thing even hatches. I saw Obama Commemorative Coins about a month ago and I felt sick to my stomach. That's a bit too much faith too early.
Obama will either make or break this country for the next few years. Simple as that.
