Hello everyone!!

My name is Ryan, and I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

I found this site on Google, and the reason why I joined this site was because I was looking for a videogame based site that wasn't known everywhere, by everyone, and everything like how Gaia Online, IGN, 1up, and Gamespot are for example. I also joined this site because two of the forums I used to go to have been sold, and have lost a lot of activity and members, thus I'm now pretty inactive there.

I'm a member of numerous forums and the primary forums I attend are Gamespot, Wire Forums (Depends on my mood - I was having problems there), and now hopefully here considering there's some forums that interest me.

My game collection can be viewed via my homepage link in my profile which currently consists of 272 games.

As for things I enjoy doing? Foruming, working on my game company in development, and I'm attending college as of August 27th of this year.

So I hope everything turns out well here, and I hope to stick around. This site is going on my bookmarks (I'm a Firefox fan ;))

Oh I'm sorry for bringing back old topics. Thing is they're "quality" posts. Bah I dunno.

Anyways I have a few questions:
  • The various systems under people's usernames, is that like the ranking system? What I mean is like how there's usually veteran, newbie, etc?
  • Also, where is the general gaming discussion area? Is there one - or have I missed it?
And also, to tell you the truth, that's probably the longest introduction post I've made ever. I've been a member of numerous forums since late 2003 - 2004 area when I joined a forum called FFGON (Final Fantasy Gods Oblivion Forum Network) - the site no longer exists anyways. I also want to "clean myself up" since I'm starting college on August 27th, so more "detailed" content might be better? Why not practice on what I do most? Foruming! :D

For the heck of it, I'm also going to list jobs that I've done on previous forums:
  • Moderator (vBulletin)
  • Super Moderator (vBulletin)
  • Administrator (Proboards, InvisionFree, IPBFree (Invision Powerboards Free), phpbb (briefly)

The forums are per console for the most part. Otherwise everything would be all over the place. Off-topic is a good place if your not sure.

Hi, I'm bert, I play a damn lot of video games. I love cars, racing them, tearing them to peices to make them into cheap, lightweight bitches, destroying people carriers on offroad course. I hail from Britain and am 16, (I know not the legal age to drive, but I drive cars on private property). I'm 'sort-of' in the TA, only while I go to college, then after that its of the the Marine Commandos. Where I plan to train my *** off to pass SAS selection. I LOVE Special Forces and CTU's.

I play a fair amount of Coutner Strike, Half-Life, Halo (PC) and Rainbow Six Vegas (Just completed it). Anyways, time to wrap this up... bye?

Well to bad DeAtHaBiT, Hello everyone else!

-I'm Oldboy, 21 yr old from NY. I'm currently trying to get college going full time, but rather not get loans so i'm working my *** off to raise money, though it hurts to have so many great games coming out and having a piece of crap car.

-I like Playstation games more than Xbox games in general, but i'm not a fanboy douche, though i really hate halo.

-I joined here because i want a forum where i can talk about video games exclusively, since it kinda annoying to talk to some of the computer guys at the Computer forum i goto, and video games aren't really relevant at the Horror movies forum i visit. Plus i hate how IGN's forum is setup, and hate gamespot completely.
