Hello, First time on this forum. My name is Rich, I am a host of a video game podcast, and all run a site dedicated to video games, and other things geeks like.
Well hello peeps. I've been playing throughout my life and videogames are pretty much my second religion. I currently own last-gen stuff like a PS2 and a Xbox. I seldom play with my PC, although Fallout has sucked me in for a while now.
Oh right, I'm Finnish. My all-time favorite game must be either Halo: Combat Evolved or Knights Of The Old Republic. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory rules aswell, I'm still waiting for a chance to go next-gen, but if a certain higher power wants me to stay left behind, I shall. Hehe. There are still loads of great games to experience, like God Of War, which I haven't even tried yet.
So, hi. I'll stick around.
EDIT: My god, how could I forget to mention Resi 4? Well, uhm, it's kickass?
Hello, I'm B that is what most people call me online and in real life, I'm currently in the army stationed in Fort Benning, GA, The land that hell washed over and the god forsaken home of the infantry and clouds of gnats.
Video games is what I like to do with my non-drinking time and the time away from training and exercising. Right now I am still playing the Orange Box from valve, As I had missed out on a lot of it's initial entrance into the world since I was deployed at the time.
I also play a lot of classic games and own just about every system, Including handhelds.
Hi everyone, I'm happy to be part of VGF! I knew about this site for some time now, and with the improvments that have made I figured it was time to become a member.
Hey, haven't been on a videogame forum since nintendo nsider went down. Looking forward to talking about one of my favorite pastimes. Nice emoticons by the way!
Hi, everyone! I'm new, and I am very big Oddworld fan, as you can probably tell from my username. For those of you who don't know, SoulStorm Brewery is the factory in Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus that makes brew out of Mudokon bones and tears, and Abe had to destroy the factory by blowing it up at the end of the game. Anyway, where are all the Oddworld fans? I have only met 2 in real life, and one of them was only a former Oddworld fan. I guess that when a company doesn't make games for over three years, people forget the series and move on, which is unfair, since Oddworld was both strange and realistic. It had "possible" characters on a strange planet, but most of the characters' thoughts were very similar to the thoughts of real people. The Glukkons thought about profit in a realistic way. New Oddworld Game in Development: News from 1UP.com This is old news, but it tells me that there is something to look forward in the next 4 years. I think that the new game is an MMO, like Hand of Odd (the unreleased Oddworld RTS) only with more characters, environments, and features.
I have searched "Oddworld" on this forum, and I found only three Oddworld-related posts. I know that Oddworld isn't that popular, but this is a video game forum. Oddworld was one of the most popular games in 2001-2004, and people should remember it.Do you think I can make an Oddworld thread on this forum, so other Oddworld fans can tell their ideas about things like the next Oddworld game, Citizen Siege, and other Oddworld-related things? I want to know who here still plays Oddworld. I do.
