This thread was created in the hopes of letting each other get to know each other. A community will work better if we all can find common ground with fellow viewer of this site. I’ll Start:

Name: Mike
Location: North Carolina
Hobbies: Playing guitar and working out in my yard.
Current projects: Making my crawl space under my house watertight.
Occupation: I’m a graphic Designer and partner in my own business (see my sig for link).
Past Occupations: I’ve work in a Winn Dixie, a hotdog shack, a couple different pizza joints, and put up chain link fence.
High School Days: I played football from pee wee up to the end of High School. I am a set placing high school wrestler. I finished fifth in at 215-weight class going 58-3. The reason for not placing in the top three was in the semifinals a guy shot a low single leg take down on me and tore my ACL in half. Now I have 8-inch scar running down my knee.
After High School: I went to King’s College in Charlotte and got my degree in graphic design and fine arts. After college I worked a few years at a Sign-O-Rama till I got the chance to go in partners in my own shop. I was married about two years ago.
In the Future: I’m hoping to grow my business and buy a couple large format printers and heat press for T-Shirts and such.
Final thoughts: I’m in a good place in my life. I just bought my own house with plenty room to have a family. I live way in the country where my only neighbors are cows. It is really peaceful with no out side noises like you would have in a city.

Current projects: Trying to become fluent in Spanish. I can read and write pretty well, but I have to work a little bit more on my speaking it.
Occupation: Student if you are going to get technical. For a job however, I am a lifeguard.
Past Occupations: I have only been a lifeguard. I did do some yardwork for a couple neighbors in my town for a while, but I don't know if I would consider that a job...despite the ton of money I made .
High School Days: Went to Chaminade High School in Mineola. While there I ran cross country and track every season (all 12 of them) and still managed to finish with a four year gpa of 91.2 and an SAT score of 1240.
After High School: I am attending SUNY Stony Brook right now and I am majoring in both biology (Stony Brook is a hugh science school) and Spanish. I would like to attend medical school eventually.
In the Future: Aside from going into medical school, the only thing I would want is to have a good relationship and basic financial security. I don't need to be rich. All I need is to have good friends and family around me.
Final thoughts: I turned 19 a few days ago and am getting closer and closer to the real world. Right now though, I just want to kick back and enjoy life.

Current projects: Going to try my hardest to raise my GPA so I need at least a 3.5 GPA to have a chance at the universities I want to go to.
Occupation: Right now I am a student.
Past Occupations: The only "job" that I have had was helping my dad out at his work.
High School Days: Well, I am going to be a senior in high school right now. I currently attend Milpitas High School. It's alright I guessm nothing too special.
After High School: I hope to either go to the United States Air Force Academy(slim to none chance there) or maybe to universities like, Boston, Ohio State, Michigan State, Syracuse or Texas A&M.
In the Future: I hope to do Air Force ROTC in college and become an Air Force Officer after I graduate. I will be either majoring in Aerospace Engineering or Linguistics.
Final thoughts: My ultimate goal is to be an Air Force Officer and maybe after that teach at a university.

Final thoughts:Im a happy 16 year old right now. Things couldnt be better for me right now.

Occupation: anything that brings in a paycheck. right now i'm running my own pressure washing buisness and renting out 2 welding trucks to jobsite that builds giant winches for offshore oilrigs.

Past Occupations: bouncer, various security jobs, construction(both commercial and residential), small buisness owner, roofing, carpet installation, dock worker, forklift operator, and at least a few others i can't remember off the top of my head.

High School Days: i don't remember all that much about my highschool incarceration, it's mostly a fuzzy jim beam colored blur.

After High School: i spent 2 years after highschool recoverering from highschool. i believe i hold the world record for the longest hangover ever had by a single person.

In the Future: i don't look to the future. i want to look at the past and wonder "what the blue hell was that and how did i survive it?!"

Final thoughts: my wallet is full, the beer is cold, my house and my truck belong to me, and my word actually means something to those that know me. life is good.
