Ehh... I was thinking about making a thread like this. But the posts people will make in here just stating the song and artist they are listening to could constitute as spam. Especially since most of the posts made would be less than 8 words and this thread would just be a spam-magnet. I'll leave it up to the mods to decide (not that I have a choice anyways).

But... to humor the thread: No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age

Kid Rock - Bawitdaba

Such an old song, but I love it. Even though it has the weirdest chorus.

The new Transformers Soundtrack!

Which is actually not half-bad.

I Wouldn't Quit if Everything Ended - Bless the Fall
Guys Like You - Bless the Fall

I just found out about this band and they are a very good screamo band... they are very clean sounding and remind me of Avenged Sevenfold.

I'm not trying to promote them, but here is their Myspace if you want to listen to their music (I don't know how popular they are, so sorry if they are old news).

Maybe because it's my opinion. When I hear Bless the Fall, Avenged Sevenfold pops up in my head. Excuse me for having a different brain than you.

Dying In Your Arms - Trivium
Drowned And Torn Asunder - Trivium

Less Talk More Rokk - Freezepop

Blinded in Chains - Avenged Sevenfold
Breaking Me Down - Soil

Rawr

Dragon Force - Through the Fire and Flames

Oh God... sooo old school right here:

It's Tricky - Run DMC

"Rock around, rock around!"

Drones - Rise Against

... and basically every other song by Rise Against.

Take This Life - In Flames

I just started get into them... I liked hardcore/screamo for awhile, but steered away from it for awhile. I only really like a select few bands like that.

I'm really getting into Rise Against, though.

Black Sunshine - White Zombie
My Curse - Killswitch Engage
Mississippi Queen - Mountain
Swing Life Away - Rise Against
No Way Out - Dope

Leeches - In Flames
Reflect the Storm - In Flames

No Way Out - Dope
F*** the World - Dope
Sex Machine - Dope

That's an awesome GH2 song.

F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. - Fall of Troy
Drones - Rise Against
Through the Fire and Flames - DragonForce

Not all. But I listen to a lot of the bands that are in it.

Wheels - Cake
People of the Sun - Rage Against the Machine

My Curse - Killswitch Engage
Breathe Life - Killswitch Engage

New Noise - Refused

Building a Religion - Cake

Nothing to Lose - Operator
Valley of the Damned - Dragonforce
Soldiers of the Wasteland - Dragonforce
Dust in the Wind - Kansas

I love it when that song comes on while playing GTA San Andreas. Or just driving on the freeway on a road trip.

My Name is Kid Rock - Kid Rock

Cheaaa, old school.

I'm Too Sexy - Right Said Fred

Yeaaaa boi

Who uses CD's? Get an MP3 player, lol.

Paralyzer - Finger Eleven

Such an awesome song...

Mama's Room - Under the Influence of Giants

amazing song

Decrescendo - RX Bandits

Testify - Rage Against the Machine
Vietnow - Rage Against the Machine

Eh, Roll Right was basically the only song I didn't like that much from them. RATM is one of the best bands I've ever heard.

I just did a charcoal drawing of De La Pocha. It's pretty sweet. I'm gonna take a pic of it in art tomorrow and show ya.

Oops, I thought I typed an R.

Here's my artwork. It's not a good pic because it's from my phone, so they look kinda glazed over.

I'm listening to Vasara by Amelie.

Now, she's no Paul Stanley, but she's far from a bad singer.

Clutch: From Beale Street To Oblivion
The new album comes out on 3/27. I've already heard it and it's awesome. Give these guys a chance. This is and will be my lifetime favorite band, hands down. Heavily influenced by Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. This band ignores the main stream for the most part and has collected a dedicated & loyal Cult following. I just saw them twice in within 3 days time. I tried to get Swiss Miss into the Orlando show, but it was Sold-Out : (

This part also caught my eye.

Way More Sabbathy than Zeppeliny. Just so you know. Very subtle hints, but they are their own band at the same time. I went to a new bar in my town Last night and played $10 worth of Clutch on the Juke which made everyone start rocking out. They're also playing at Bonnaroo, that means something.
And they were the Headlining band under Lamb of God for the first Sounds of the Underground Tour

I've been hearing a lot more Clutch ever since we tried to get me into that show. I too am diggin' them and the more I hear them the more I regret not getting a ticket earlier! As of right now, I am listening to Johnny Cash - Ghost Riders In the Sky. I did not realize until just now that I was listening to that song on repeat, but it's a goodie so I don't mind.

As for heavier rotation here at the SwissCasa, I've been listening to a lot of this alt band, Cold War Kids. They are great. Also the new AIR album is fantastically chill.

Thats fine with me, Sabbath rocks aswell.

Just to stay on topic...

Pink Floyd - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn

This is easily my second favorite Floyd album behind Wish You Were Here, partly because it so much different then the rest of their albums. Im not saying that they arent all unique, but this one is drastically different, mainly due to Syd Barret (RIP).

I've locked my Priest CDs up for the last week or so. I got Youthanasia from Megadeth last week and I've been listening to Family Tree, Black Curtains, Victory, Killing Road, Elysian Fields, and Reckoning Day a lot. The other day I put my Anthrax album in my CD player and I've been listening to that as I drive for the last few days. It's time to change CDs again, but I'm not sure what I'll replace Anthrax with. All that I know is it's starting to get boring listening to Keep it in the Family, Got the Time, and In My World over and over.

Skinny Puppy - The Greater Wrong of the Right.
It's such an awesome album.

Skinny Puppy is definitely an acquired taste. This album is probably the easiest one for anyone to enjoy.

I'm listening to anything from Gym Class Heros to T.I...

I'm into a whole lotta **** right now.

Right now I'm liking JR Writer - History in The Making. Good CD.

Right now I'm on the Graduation really hard. But I'm listening to alooot of different ****.

Btw, just a quick question; Is Killswitch Engage singer black? He looks it.

And, Holy Diver is the ****, yeah, I said its the ****. Sue me.

Um, idk. I just know it's by Killswitch Engage.

White stripes - you don't know what love is(I think thats what its called)

Linkin Park - Bleed it out.

I have a real craving for some melo, slow paced rock music. Can someone link me to a myspace or something?

Common - I Used to Love H.E.R.

Classic.

Atmosphere - Always coming back home to you/ Shhh.

Shh is the **** son.

thnx bob for putting me on to Atmosphere!

Gravediggaz - Diary of a Madman

Good song. Murqq, check them out.

Yeah, I got a couple of their cds a couple months ago when I found out Rza was in them.

Anyhow....

Atmosphere - Aspiring Sociopath
Atmosphere - Reflections
Jedi Mind Tricks - Before the Great Collapse

And coming up......

I'll mix it up with some Eric Clapton.

10 Years' Wasteland is pretty good, I like it. Audioslave was not was much.

A Perfect Circle's The Outsider is pretty decent and Annihilation's music is amazing, but the vocals could be a lot better.

Thanks man. Hi 5ive!

I don't remember the names but I'll go look in a minute and edit. I just went to all of their Myspace pages because usually artists put their best new songs on them, but I will listen to some more of their songs since I only heard 4.

In that song they were not good, in everything else they were fine.

You happy now?

NUN, that **** sounds like something from a horror movie, I didn't like it.

EDIT
holy hell, I just found an amazing white rapper:

Jon Young
MySpace.com - Jon Young (LIVE in LONGWOOD, FL 11/30) - ORLANDO, Florida - Rap / Pop / R&B - www.myspace.com/jonyoungmusic

Plies ft. Tpain - Shawty
2 Pistols ft Tpain - She got it
Lil Wayne - I Feel like Dying

EDIT

afi - love like winter / miss murder

My new favorite rock/punk-ish music;

Tiger Army - Forever Fades Away

Someone, give me more.

Immortal Technique - You Never Know

Amazing song.

Tech is not the best rapper ever. In fact, there is no best rapper ever.

And damnit, there is no best rapper!

KSE - My curse

Dragonforce - Through the fire and the flames

Usher and some ***** from Atlanta - Make love in this club

Tupac - California Love

followed by Killswitch Engage - The Arms of Sorrow (I think that's next on this playlist....)
