I think MGS4 sucks!

Your swearing is just stupid and immature, when swearing know when to swear and when not to. Also i'm pretty sure MGS4 isn't a fast paced FPS, its a action/stealth game with crude humor.

Lastly Yes asking why this game is so popular would have been better instead of going nuts like you did.

I only have one request to anyone this may apply to... If you're going to swear, could you please not use GD? I take great offense to that word. My relationship with God is the most important thing in my life, so it greatly offends me when someone curses his name by saying GD. If you don't believe in God, then please at least refrain from using GD out of respect for people like me who have a great love for Him. That's why I use a TV Guardian with my DVD player, so I don't have to hear that word when I'm watching movies.

As for the Metal Gear Solid 4 topic, the game is one of the best games I've ever played. It's almost as if you have to enjoy watching movies to enjoy this game, because playing through it is like playing through an awesome movie. I think that's genius on the part of Hideo. And like others have mentioned, it's not a fast-paced FPS. The object of the game is to AVOID being seen, and be stealthy. I think it's pretty exciting to manage doing that. And I happened to enjoy the cutscenes. If you're into the storyline, then you'll enjoy the cutsenes. If you don't like the storyline, you probably won't like the cutscenes. But hey, you can always skip them, and then not understand what's going on in the game.

What's so good about this game you ask? Well...the constant:

-Pee Humor
-Johnny and the poopers
-Playboy magazines you can read
-Big Boobs and Cleavage on Naomi
-You can make Rosemary's boobs jiggle with sixaxis
-Sneaking around in a c.box and drum can
-Sticking C4 on enemies
-Patting down female Frogs
-Also, the constant exposure to the model Minami
-Oh did I mention Naomi's boobs, which Kojima focused on quite a bit

Sorry guys (and girls), but I have to agree with the original poster. I think that MGS4 is one of the most overrated games I've ever played. I'm not trying to start a flame war - I know that if I specify everything that I thought was wrong with the thing, you guys will jump on me like ninjas.

Feel free to check my blog where I tell you exactly why I think that mgs4 sucks. If you can't tolerate another person's opinions, you probably shouldn't go there.

I respect your guys' opinions, and I really appreciate that there's a forum like this where we can discuss what we love (videogames

). Sure, I'm not a MGS4 fan, but I think we can all get along!

Never get a chance to play it? WTF are you talking about? There's more gametime than cutscenes contrary to popular belief. If you don't like the cutscenes, let me give you a piece of info that might help you greatly. Most controllers come equipped with a handy start button. If you dare to press it, it has the ability to make all of those bad, mean cutscenes vanish.

Now if you can't grasp those simple concepts, please do us all a favor and play a quick round of "Drink the stuff under the sink" before you patheticly try to convey your thoughts to us again.

lol! i though the gameplay is horrible as well as the story and theres hardly any action that isnt part of a god damn cut scene.

He's not begging to be flamed, he's just an emo kid who is too in love with 8-bit Super Mario on the NES that has a completely closed mind and just attacks everything that doesn't fit his entire needs.

If he can give a reason, a TRUE reason with support as to why he doesn't like MGS4 rather than just state that he doesn't like the game because it doesn't fit his style of game play then I would respect his opinion more but until then..... no.
