I seem to be having an issue. Snake's butt is a bit too shiny...and it is distracting me from the game.

It's not shinny you just like his ***.. Although have you ever laid in prone and pushed forward and he like humps the ground? I lol'd for about 10 mins cause I thought that was the only way of moving in prone.

Alright, I just ran into my first problem. I just finished the first Act where he see's that Liquid dude and theres that big cut scene. It asked me to save the game so I did. Immediately after that it says "Metal Gear Solid 4 will now install on your PS3". So now its installing itself all over again..and I have to wait 5 minutes.. It better of saved my stuff or i'll be so pizzed.

I heard of this happening with GTA 4. This is the first time I ever had a problem like this with the PS3.

EDIT : Alright good it saved it. Still an inconvenience though.

The install should have only been 3 minutes...and it happens after every act.

The amount of stuff needed to install was so big they split it into an 8 minute download at first and then 3 minute downloads after every act.

Each install actually overrides the past install. It prevents the install size from being any larger.

When I play online, I die, respawn for about a second, then die again. It says the same guy killed me with the same weapon again. But it doesn't count in the total Kills and Deaths.

That happened with the last MGO too.

And that overwrite-install is the gayest suprise ever. Silly me for thinking I can play a new game, and go back to my save file right before the MG battle whenever I want to.
