Just use that addlist function in the lobby to add a friend.
MGO is awesome. I don't like how restrictive they are, what with the whole several id's thing, one id per ps3, you have to wait like 7 days before you delete a character (Which is the only way to change his possible equipment, name, voice, face, etc), and you have have to pay for more id's, and it's not through the psn.
****. I just realized watching flashbacks subtracts drebin points and not the other way around... ****, I messed up last time around.

Ok been playing online for a while and I have a few questions.
1) Is there anyway to change the appearance of your character?
It suck b/c there are some missions where you want to change your uniform pattern
2) If on does buy another character can you transfer skills over or do you have to rebuild that character from lvl 1?

1) Yes, but not the camo like you want to, so no.
2) No.
Also, you have to wait a week before you can delete your character and start over.

I just played MGO for the first time tonight and I must say, it exceeded my expectations and my expectations were pretty low judging by how MGO was for MGS3. The Sneaking Mission game is pretty fun and I got to be Snake my first time playing. I kind of knew what I was doing but was oblivious as to how that game type worked but I did quite well. I lost but I took down quite a few opponents before the game ended.

I just take the loss when I am snake. Or I will just get the 3 dog tags at the very end of the game (if the other team is really bad).
I just use octocamo to my advantage to get a lot of kills, lol. I go about 50-3 as Snake. Gotta love it. Raising my KDR.

Online is fun, except for the fact that I get head shotted frequently. :/

That means you just have to learn how to shoot for your enemies head yourself. also, learn to use cover to your advantage and master all of the possible controls. When you get knocked down and your enemy is standing over you, don't get up, shoot him from the ground.
Also when you ready your weapon if you click the R3 button the camera switches shoulders. Use this when you're coming up on corners to give yourself the best possible angle without exposing yourself as much.

What mob said. Headshots are the only way you can get a kill in this game for the most part. If you actually have to shoot for the damage, you better make damn sure you are accurate with every bullet and ambush them from behind. If they're a skilled player, they'll take you out before you finish them off. They'll be badly injured, but they'll live to fight another day, and it's likely one of your teammates will finish him off, having let you do all the hard work and not giving you any points for doing so.
I personally like the Third person view more; aiming my cursor to be centered on their neck and unloading usually works for me. In FPV, the thing bounces around a whole lot, and I'm not skilled enough to keep a bead on their head, and can only barely manage their body.
Also, try to stay out of the paths for snipers, i.e. long allies. In Midtown Maelstrom, either take the path on the right or zig zag your way along the left/right, and then dive through the middle building's windows to get to the other side.

This ranking system is wacked out, lol.
I just played about 12 rescue games, of 6 rounds each. Each game I had anywhere from 12 to 20 kills, with only 1 or 2 deaths. (6v6 no respawn rescue)
Each game, I won AT LEAST 4 of the 6 rounds, often winning all 6.
So out of all those games, my KDR was about 180-20, and I won about 60 of the 72 rounds while winning every game. I thought for sure I would be level 10. I went to go check my stats, I went down to 8. -_-
