Maybe I'll give it another go some other time. Like Vash, I'm enjoying the single player game. I rented it when it first came out and never finished it, so now I've got no excuse. I just got the crocodile cap, and am pwning in reptillian fashion.

I <3 Metal Gear. I used to rock it endlessly on NES.

At the local EB Games by my apartment, they had a few of the "MGS Saga" DVDs in their bin that you can take whenever you place a deposit (pre-order) down on a game. ($5 minimum)

I was going to take one a week ago, but I chose the Syphon Filter (PSP) demo instead... kinda glad I didn't take the MGS DVD, as I got one when I pre-ordered Subsistence (from EB Games' website).

Picked up the game not too long ago.. In my opinion, online is a joke, single player rocks (except for the last fight with the boss)... All in all good ole Metal Gear Solid game.

That loss of your 360 veiw camera agianst the boss is very very very rediculous. I thought the game was pretty cool up until that point. Oh well, PS3 better provide.

"Provide" what, exactly? ???

And how is the online mode "a joke"? I'll admit, I wasn't happy with it at first... but it got better once I had the (typical MGS)controls memorized again.

???

The game got damned boring...It's still fun to play on occassion, but I guess I've left PS2 gaming alltogether anyways, not just MGO.

PS: Oni, do you even play anymore?

Not since before I left for my wedding in Vegas... sorry to have let you down, but I've had priorities like that standing in my way if being on much.

I also fell into playing the revamped Snake Eater (single player) game... so much better now, I have to say!

That, and "The Godfather" (Xbox) have been eating up quite a bit of my time.

The only game that I've played online lately is 25 To Life... especially ever since the latest patch from Eidos.

(So once again, I apologize.)

I added you to my friends list and you are never on...unless you are on a different name. But I agree with you, MGO got slightly boring and what not, and most people in the game are DICKS so that doesnt help.

But I am the same for you, MGO was like, the last online game I had hope for....now I will have to wait till ps3 for better online games.

I'm mainly migrating towards computer games like www.knightonlineworld.com and www.worldofwarcraft.com for the time being, I just lost the fun in PS2 games. But it's happened before, I'll be back online MGO in time.
