Anyone here getting this hugely upgraded Pokemon D/P game? I'am! I can't wait to play it and get all those different region pokes earlier. :)
Ive gotten it. I went to the event at rockefeller center to get it while i was waiting for my girlfriend who works in the same spot. Ill never "outgrow" the franchise, but the gameplay is getting a bit dated. Im sure that Nintendo knows this is the last time the Red+B;ue formula will work without needing a major overhaul, but i mean for what it is its still an A+ game. They always are.

Pokemon Platinum is just a upgraded version of Pokemon Diamond or Pearl it just when u trade a Saymin it turns into it Sky form and there is also Rotom it changes into its Wind Forme, Fire Forme, Water forme and others. And also it has extra characters thats all

I have platinum but its the same as D/P despite you character's clothes are a different color. I wouldn't recommend buying it - I would just keep to D/P in my opinion
Agreed. Platinum for those who are really into Pokemon and getting your hands on this to add to your collection otherwise stick to D/P.
I've finished Platinum with the addition of the distorted world added a slight change-up compared to D/P although its still very similar and I would only obtain it if your a Pokemon collector.
I have Platinum and I have to say it is a huge upgrade, Diamonds gameplay was really slow and this one is sped up, It is very similar to D/P just better
