i bought one,

and to be the only non-negative-nancy,

its good for music and games on the go. if you have a 2+ GB memory stick, it makes having a PSP worth it. i would wait for the price drop though.

It really depends on what you want from your handheld. The PSP is a powerful multimedia machine, sure right now the games are a little limited but they are picking up. The movie and music features kick *** if you have a 2-4gig stick its like having an ipod built in. The location free dohickey looks cool as **** too, i want to watch live tv on my psp when i get bored of FTB2 or GTA:VCS. I love mine, i like the graphics and such, the one complaint I do have is I wish they could have worked in two more shoulder buttons(like the PS2 controller) Now with classics like Tenchu and MGS coming to it I think its totally worth it. You can get one on Ebay for $150.00 which isnt bad at all. I forgot the web browsing and homebrew apps too, its got alot of entertainment to offer if you travel alot or take public transportation to work or school. My 2 cents

yeah. me too with the complaint about the buttons madgza, i really think if they wanted to they could have put a second right side analog stick, if you look, there is room.

I never play games on mine anymore. I do use it for games when I'm on the road, but I'm never on the road. I use it to play music every day, though. At some point I'll replace it with something else that is more music-oriented, but I'm content and so that date is far off.

I find the actual gameplay of SOCOM FTB2 really boring now but I have so much fun annoying kids on that game. Honestly, that's the only reason I play it. I love my psp. Watching movies and playing games on it is fun, especially with the large screen. It's good for music and photos too and great for long trips. If you play games a lot and like to watch movies and listen to music on the go, then you should get a psp. However, if you have little desire to play games but want movies and music, I would get an iPod. (But the screen on the psp is really nice though)
