Is the PSP worth it?

I own both the DS and PSP I think that both systems are great. I use my PSP foor listening to my music during the morning and evening commutes between work and home (In other terms it's my MP3 player) I play the games on it when I feel like it. I don't really use it that much for pictures or video. Mainly music and games. The DS I use for when I'm at home on on long trips. Personally I like to take my DS while I'm in the bathroom doing my business. The games (Depending on what you buy) for the DS are fast paced and short enough for me to have it fully take up my time and let me finish in a reasonable time manner. The PSP games on the other hand (MGS:PO, GTA:VCS, SOCOM FTB2) Are more longer paced than some of the games I own for the DS, So I's rather play them when I have more sit down (Not bathroom) time for myself.

Honestly I love both systems, and if you can get both. Buy both DS and PSP.

Well with all the specs you will think psp is all but invincible...

This is not true once you get the psp, you notice a pattern of long loading time and bad games with one analog stick. The psp can be like a ipod? No not really ipod is much smaller and convenient. Also those things break easily.

i like my Ipod better then my PSP lol, it plays movies and tv shows, without bad frame rate...

besides Ipod has a few cool games too, ipod has a calander and a stop watch and a alarm! cant beat that lol

I use my PSP for movies and that's about it. My DS is what I play games on. It just has a wider variety of games for it and I can't get enough of pounding my friends on Metriod and Mario Kart. So I say no, the PSP is not worth it.

No. You can listen to me because I don't really like hand helds so I won't be biased and my brother has had both. The PSP isn't as good as the DS. The PSP has better online but not very many online games. So get a DS or don't get on at all.

psp is so worth it!!! I own one that is white and a ds lite(also white) they both are cool. if you can buy both!

I don't have any handheld devices. I think its worth it if you travel around a lot and want to play games while you travel. No point playing it at home, thats what the ps2 is for.

The only handhelds I own/have ever owned are a Gameboy color and a Gameboy Advance SP. The first was bought at a yard sale with like 30 games and other accessories for like $15 and the other was a gift. I'm not a big handheld fan, but from playing the PSP once or twice I just have the feeling it isn't worth it. It is basically a PS1 that fits in your hand. Yeah, its nice that it can be used as a media center, but it is usually confusing and not even worth it. Plus, the PSP feels as if you drop it on the ground it will shatter into 150,000 pieces. Sony = FAIL anymore with their gaming consoles.

please do not buy a psp. im so ready for them to discontinue it, its not even worth marketing anymore. i got mine i think like april 2005 or 6 i forget, and it was cool at first dont get me wrogn here, but umds suck have little or no features for a horrible price, it is VERY VERY DELICATE, especially for a handheld machine wich is a big no-no, pro duo sticks are not uniform and can only be used with other sony products(like whats the coincidence ull have cybershot AND a psp lol)

and the games, while some origional, are mostly bad ps2 rip offs, and even the good ones make up about 5% of the the totall game library. Youll find youself buying a cool new game about once every 5 months. and gaems like metal gear and socom are nice but man are there any new ORIGIONAL GAMES>!?!?! stick with your ps2 or buy a xbox 360, ps3 and psp are a major dissapointment.(ok the 360 red ring sucks too but i can deal more with that)
