I've had my PSP for over a year and a half now. My friend lent me his DS for like weeks because his sister didn't want hers anymore. I think I played them both enough to make a decision.

The novelty hasn't worn off my 360 that I got over a year ago. The novelty took years to run out for PS2, same with PS1. Jesus, even Nintendo 64 lasted me a few years. Are you kidding me? I'm posting on my psp well I'm taking a ****! Me and all the kids at my school play online when we in our classes. Beat that on a ds! Psp > Ds..

I have both. It really depends what games you want. If you want a game with any sort of 3D, then you need a PSP. What devs need to do is to stop trying to get the DS to render 3D worlds and making it look like an absolute dog's dinner. It's not good at it. Accept it, stop trying, and leave it to the PSP, which is great at 3D. What the DS is good at imo is sprites, 2D worlds and point and clicks like Phoenix Wright, Hotel Dusk and Another Code. Those games are amazing - roll on Apollo Justice!

I like both systems, they're both catering to different audiences and the games for each system are so different that it's hard to compare the two.

You can get a web browser for the DS and can quite easily play together in your classes on the DS also.

I will admit the graphics on the PSP are the best I have ever seen on a handheld (better than most older consoles even) but the PSP is (or was) a hell of a lot more to buy than the DS.

If I had bought my PSP at today's price, I wouldn't be complaining. The DS is better value for money.

Also, if you like playing together in class then the chat feature of the DS would probably be good for you. It makes the immature task of secretly passing notes around the class much easier.

It really depends on what game i am playing if i like the DS or the PSP.

I normally use my DS more though. But my PSP is way better for games that i care about graphics like racing and shooters.

I like MGS on the PSP

I couldn't get into MGS on the PSP. I dunno if it was the controls or kinda-lame story. I absolutely love the series, I know pretty much everything there is to know about it, but couldn't force myself to beat the PSP game.

Yeah Killzone was a huge disappointment for me. Looked cool for its time, but I didn't like it.

DS= PSP In my opinon their equal. The PSP might be a bit better, but They are both awesome.

PSP is used as a mass multi-media system so of course it will be better.

It's the games that matter though. The quality, not quantity. Both systems have their fair share of good and bad titles. I must say. Castlevania on the DS is one of my favourite handheld games of all time next to both GTA Stories.
