Do you have to buy a memory stick for it like the PSP, or does it come with a set ammount of room? While I don't intend to replace my PSP, I'm a little interested to know about the DS in regards to playing music.

Nope it's the same as PSP. MY friend got a gig card and put like so many games on it. DS Games take up like no space lol

What Nintendo needs to do is release Super Mario World on every counsle, and their profits will soar.

I like the PSP better than the DS, because The games on the DS aren't for me and GTA kicks ***. DS is great for the toilet though, like Prision said

this question i swear is debated in every game forum on the internet! now personally, i own both and the both kick @$$! sure ds has a great first party line-up, but im sorry, the ds's third party support sucks. the psp has somewhat better third party support, but im not going to say great considering how many ps2 to psp titles we see all the time. and plus the ds was deseigned for a younger audience(and with touch-generations, older gamers who wouldn't ordinarily own a game system). the psp was deseinged for older gamers in the first place, come on, look at the 2 gta titles on psp just to mention some of the games for older audiences. i think this debate will never end. but again i think they both are great.

I find PSP games more enjoyable. Games like Ace Combat X and Grand Theft Auto Stories appeal to me since I had a PS2 and own PS3. I owned a DS but switched to a PSP and don't regret it. I like that you can store video on it as well as use it as a media hub in conjunction with a PS3. You can download PS1 games from the PS Store and put them on your PSP.

PSP is a diamond in the ruff just waiting to be polished, cut, and sold to the right customer.

While the DS is already that cut and polished gem.

DS = Bathroom time
PSP = With me going downtown

DS + PSP = You won't be disappointed all around.

DS - PSP = Better games

PSP - DS = Better media capabilities

PSP = iPod = Whatever you need your media needs to be

Me + PSP + DS =

I've had my ds for about four days now, and I've played psp before a bunch of times and I definitely think ds is more fun. Its cheaper and the games just seem to be more fun. For the psp everyone is trying to get good graphics and stuff and for the ds everything is kept simple and the games are fun. Take pokemon for example, its cheesy graphics wise and still hard to put down, while I hated socom and gta for the psp.

Psp > Ds
I like PSP way more. I've used both, and I just like the types of games for PSP more. They seem to be more in depth, plus they look better, plus the screen is huge. I just wasn't all about the touch screen on the DS. I suppose it just comes down to what your into. If I wanted to grab a quick game of something between classes then I would want a DS, but I like games that you have to invest a little time in.

Why even make a topic like this, when all you'll get is fanboys comming n and saying one is better then the other. I hate those types of threads. How about we say they both have their hits and misses. PSP has homebrew, better gaphics and a better game line up, and is a major multi-media system. The DS has a touch screen. In my opinion though, the PSP gets a win because the DS has a lot of broken pixels already on the screen when you buy it, and after you use it for a while, the damage really takes it's toll.
