all the jumpin around is kinda gay. Takes a million hits to kill people. The game just seems too happy / childish . Plus you cant pick classes or start off with good guns. Whoever rushes to get the good guns first, wins the game. Which is another silly aspect if u ask me.
I returned Halo 3 the second day I got it.
If they improve on some of the points above, I may try out the expansion in the fall.

agree 100%....although i will admit i like the story better than the gameplay....
also i think halo wars was a far better and fun game than halo 3...<<opinion

god damnit does everyone have to bash halo everytime someone asks,or brings it up?. Id rather play that than PS3 socom, but I don't exclaim it everytime someone mentions it. Actually ive never mentioned that but oh well.
Im not a huge halo fan, but i do love the game for what it is. Alot of the arguments people have against the game are alittle foolish. Its like if the game isnt a realistic/arcade military shooter with an M rating, then they dont want to play it, but seeing as this board is full of socom fanatics then there ya go. Its kinda like talking about Beyonce at a slipknot concert.

i dont hate on people that love it (hell im one of the dumbfucks who bought the LE helmet which i will never get rid of because i would lose my ass compared to what i paid) but again I enjoy the series more for the single player and story rather than the online.
now i did play it some and it was ok....but as Lib said there is just way too much jumping around and fighting for that uber weapon.......i prefer load outs that make things a little more even across the board. these are all opinions though so take them how you want.

Halo was enjoyable I had fun with it x3 It does seem happy but thats part of its charm Halo is all about the good times with your buddys. XD
For anything serious its Socom and COD.

Halo 3 is what it is, and it's good at that. A lot of people don't like the "shoot people 39847329874 times" part of it, but that's the game. I enjoy it a lot, as I did Halo 2. It's fun for me, plain and simple.

Halo 3 (like the others in the series) has an awesome plot that' smuch better then COD or than GOW. It takes more strategy, and the online play is the best of all time. I've never really understood how some people like other shooters more.
but oh well.
