My friend went to our local gamestop to get it about an hour ago. I'm cant skip any more school or else I will go to juvie. So, I'm just gonna play it right after school.

Why couldn't microsoft release it on a friday night?

Because the game is geared to the +18 M crowd. They, like myself, quite frankly do not care about your bedtimes. Also, games typically are released on Tuesdays and Thursdays anyways.

I picked up a copy during Lunch today. Mass Hype aside I'm looking for a good MP shooter that has lasting appeal.

My copy of Halo 3 still has yet to see the inside of my Xbox 360... and to be honest, at this point, I'd still much rather play The Simpsons Game demo... soooo much fun!

When I picked up Orange Box yesterday.. I asked how many copies of Halo 3 were returned.. and surprisingly they said I was the only one to return it, out of thousands sold at that location.

This game is so ordinary and nothing spectacular at all. Just another Halo game.. If people buying video games had enough knowledge, then COD4 would sell twice as many copies. But most people think this is just another COD game. Their advertising department needs to go NUTS promoting this game. Because its the best online shooter game EVER MADE.

COD is gonna rock the house. I agree, Halo 3 is way too plain. It took me a while to figure it out, but here is why.

In Halo 2, I'd sit there and whether I was playing custom games or matchmaking, I was ALWAYS having fun. I wasn't one to get aggravated at games. I would sit there for hours and just play, just like SOCOM.
In Halo 3, I get pissed off at every little thing. ESPECIALLY when you know you got that last shot/beat down/grenade/whatever off but it only shows it on your screen and the guy doesn't die. I can't stand that. I can't sit down and just play this game anymore. Maybe it's just that I have better things to do, but I wound up shutting it off last night after getting bored with it. So come on Assassin's Creed and COD4.
