What was funny was hearing everyone on the Call of Duty beta last night, talking about how they're trading Halo 3 in towards Call of Duty.
I wonder if that number is going to set any records?

I doubt it will come anywhere near Halo 3. The hype was just so much.

Yeah don't be silly omega, whether it is overhyped or not, halo has a great background and an extremely hyped release. Call of Duty has had a good past and all (minus treyarch's call of duty 3) but it will be no where near Halo 3.

Artards.
And the MM system < Socom setup. There will never be a setup that is just so good. Even if the people playing the game are annoying, the lobby system is awesome, as are the clan systems and friends lists.

Let's not forget that there were still tons of people on H2 that still ranked up by modding, bridging, standying, team standbying, the whole nine..Although it's gone for H3, so far.

Well can you actually say there was a game that prevented ranking up more than halo 2 did at the time? It was an old system that was easy to mod at the time. I believe the 360 and halo 3 will be taken more care of in terms of modding.

People are 'ranking up' now in Halo 3..however what they're doing is just increasing their exp/rp which only affects their military rank..no modding/cheating(sort of) involved.
