Even the cable provider at my house (Comcast) has "received" Halo 3 fever... there is a separate on demand channel that has trailers for the upcoming game, Halo 3 multiplayer beta footage, as well as interviews with the Bungie staff.
I was also somewhat shocked to see that the football game on CBS (in Chicago) yesterday was being "sponsored" by Halo 3.
I've had the game pre-ordered and paid in full for months now, but I am nowhere even close to being as hyped up for it as most people undoubtedly are... I just want to see how the story ends. Then I will probably trade it in while it still holds a good buyback price.

Apparently the ending cinematic has been put on Youtube for everyone that doesn't care to know that Snape kills Master Chief. I thought about embedding it in the thread, just to be funny.

I'm going to play in a Halo3 tourny at the Walmart I work at the night before it comes out (2v2 tourny). First place gets the game or a $50 gift card, and 2nd and 3rd are paid too. I'm going mostly to talk a lot of smack in person to the gaylo fanatics, and then to hopefully win it and do as creep said, and finish the story.

That episode had nothing to do with Halo 3. AT ALL. It just said "Brought to you by Halo 3" during commercials.
