Halo 3 beta

I think it's deserving of it's own thread.

So who's going to have it? I'll be playing it, it's released on Wednesday. I've got more than 2 days off next week for the frist time in forever, so I'm hoping that I'll see some people on to play with :)

I'm rather excited, from the video(s) I've seen auto-aim seems to be gone, but could have been changed from Alpha to beta, and beta to release. But hey, who knows.

I won't be playing any form of Halo 3 until the final version is released, and I get the phone call from GameStop/EB Games telling me that my copy is ready for pickup.

Regardless, I will definitely be looking forward to the thoughts/opinions from the people around here who have played the Halo 3 beta.

I got Crackdown and it has the Halo 3 Beta option on the front but it doesn't say it anywhere on the box, I'm really scared lol I hope I get it... If not I might have to trade in crackdown and hope there is another one with the beta ;)
But I can't wait I'm so excited about it, it looks great.

You can play the H3 Beta today if your registered on Bungie.net. You will recieve a code to type in to play it early. My friend has it and is playing it....I'm jelous lol. I guess I will have to wait.

There are 4 ways to get the Beta Knuck.....

1) Friend/family. An invite because you know someone involved.
2) Sign ups. The original sign up for it took people.
3) Rule of Thirds. The first 13,333 people that signed up one day get it if they played a certain amount of time within a time frame.
4) Crackdown.

You don't get it just for registering on the site. And lastly, the beta isn't released until the 16th, as I said. So your friend isn't playing it.

Huh, um the people that signed up for the beta and got accepted, they already got the code, one of my friends from school was playing it yesterday, he saids its awsome, i even wenton his profile and it said Playing Halo 3 Beta

Do not try to tell me something that is wrong. You are wrong bob. How come when I clicked on his name it said "Halo 3 Beta"? He is playing it, he played it yesterday. Don't give me this ****, your wrong. He sent me a message on how he got it but I can't remember it now. Go on Bungie.net to see.
