When I contacted their Customer Service number to have my 360 repaired and/or swapped, there was an automated message saying that they are "well aware of the Halo 3 beta issue", and they were "working to resolve the issue".
Great work once again, Microsoft!

Finally got the red ring of death, ey? ahh ha... I remember when I had to send mine in for repair and was complaining like crazy..you were like "mine works great and I love microsoft" .. hehe

Bungie's Frank O' Connor confirmed reports that the Crackdown version of the Halo 3 Beta will see a short delay as the studio fixes some last-minute technical issues.
Crackdown owners who want to join the Halo 3 Beta today are out of luck, at least for the moment. The Beta was scheduled to go live at midnight last night, on Wednesday, May 16th. But due to an unforeseen glitch, the Beta is still not available for download.
Bungie's Frank O' Connor crossed his fingers for a short delay on his Bungie.net post and promised that Xbox Live specialists are working to fix the problem quickly.
Current members of the Beta -- Microsoft Friends and Family as well as the Rule of Three -- are unaffected by this delay. It only affects Crackdown owners who wish to access the Beta through Crackdown's Xbox Live interface.
We'll keep you updated.
