I loved the Mafia Sentinel on III, and it's even better all round on IV (although it's just the Sentinel now).
Sometimes, I don't see any point in keeping cars at safe-houses. I realise that certain cars, like the Infernus, are hard to find but some people keep the most available cars on the game at their safe-house and I just don't see any need for it.
I keep the Infernus at one of my safe-houses, and a cop car at every safe-house for the most wanted missions.

The sultan and Sentinal are not the easiest cars to find. Plus remember, there are different trims of those cars running around, so if you want a mafia sentinel, you might only find regular ones, and the fully tuned Sultan is only found in the brokedown house in alderny, but even that is missing a hoodscoop. So when you conviniently want a car you cant find just by walking down the street, its good to keep them at the houses. to tell you the truth its hard to get any car if your looking for it, its usually when your just cruising that you see a car ud want.

I stopped parking cop cars in front of my safehouses once I memorized where empty ones are sitting throughout Liberty City.

The infernus is given to you by bernie after you complete his missions. Its probably the best handling car in the game in addition to the Turismo.
Surprisingly, the blista compact is a very good car, i'd try it out if i were you. Also, the feltzer is always a nice car to find commonly. It's not a supercar, but it's damn good.

I totally agree... it's almost like the car has four wheel drive, it handles fast turns so well!

I said that when I first got the game and no one believed me!
The Infernus is good but sometimes it seems to get stuck in gear if that's possible on a game. When you set off after a full stop, it sometimes takes a while for the proper power to kick in.
Speaking of 4WD vehicles, I think the best one is the Calvacade (sp?). The Landstalker is the best looking, but it's too low for off-roading. I also like to good ol' redneck-looking pickup.

I've had a secret crush on the Blista ever since the days GTAIII was first released...

Only the compact for me, never liked the mini-van model.
and no cheetah?
WAAAH! That was always my favorite car. No idea why they took it out. Should have used the name "cheetah" instead of "feltzer", which was a low-rider in san andreas.
Has anyone ever seen the Ruiner or Super GT in the single player games?

I've seen the Super GT a few times during my single player exploits... offhand, I want to say that it can be found in either Algonquin or Alderney.

I like the Turismo. That car handles really well and has impressive top speed.
