Yep. You can also set your ps3 to become a dedicated server. There are also several research centers that use the ps3 in clusters to do their shizz.

And I highly doubt that most games use SONY servers for anything other than stats. I mean, if we still use p2p hosting in COD, and basically every other game on the ps, they probably don't have servers they can use instead, since that would be the preferred method in the first place.

Maybe...some PS3 games do use Gamespy.


We all know what happens to Gamespy under THAT MUCH traffic. >_>

Either way, according to this, they are both very close, someone that could easily change over a short period of time.

Since that is Uk only, I would say that GTAIV probably sold around 1.5 million in the US. If you include the rest of Europe and the few people that buy the game in Japan...the game could have reached 2.5 million? That is my guess.

P.S. I just got GTAIV (360) in the mail today from Gamefly. 1 day after release...not bad!

i would figure the sales to be very close in the UK, seeing as the 360 isn't as dominant there as it is here. Man you couldn't find a store that had the 360 version of GTA yesterday. Because of this my girlfriends brother has been harassing me with messages on live asking me to sell it to him. **** that, im not that nice.
