I am sick and tired of ignorant self obsessed media folk bashing on videogames. This is just another example of 40 something year olds sat in their office who like to read their own writing and the sound of their own voice. They spew out their own uninformed opinion about videogames and how they warp our children's fragile minds. Mass Effect and FOX being a prime example.
GTA4 is an 18 rated game. Anybody over the age of 18 who is influenced by a videogame and goes on a rampage is societies, and the persons fault. Not the fault of the game developers or the gaming industry. Anyone younger than 18 that does the same is the parents fault, simple. No excuses. They should not be playing the game.
What about Rap music? Or violent films? Or viloent TV programs? Theres always music on the radio pleasantly talking about how if you mess with 50 cent he'll get his crew round and put bullets in your backside, or how being a pimp and a "Player" gets you all the money and honeyz you could shake a stick at.
People need to accept responsibility for their own damn actions and stop looking elsewhere for something or someone to blame.
