Preordered or Not?

Have you preordered a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV, or are you going to pick up a copy at a local retail store?

I, myself, have preordered it. It should arrive here by May 7-9

I'm actually just about to go out and get the bus to the local game shop where I am going to pre-order the game.

I go in there everyday in my dinner break so I can pick it up before the little brats get in there with their parents buying it for them. I can pick it up the day of release if all goes well, and I am going against all my morals and trading my games in (not CoD4) for an added 10% credit towards GTAIV.

I'll tell you what I'm going to do...I'm going to procrastinate about pre-odering this right until the release date. I'm still on the fence wether I want to get involved with this game. The Multiplayer aspect definetly has my interest, but all I think about is the trash talkers that Saint's Row attracted online back in the day. I'm taking a wait and see approach

I just got back from pre-ordering it. Fully paid for so all I have to do the 29th is pick it up and play!

Whens the DS3 come out? I want that baby!

It's already out, in Japan that is. You can import it though.

To be honest.. This is the first game I have ever pre-ordered. I have always just went early to stores and got the game I wanted. I don't even know why I pre ordered my ps3 version of GTA I think there will be a hole 5 people that will buy it for the ps3 lol.

This is the second game I have ever pre-ordered. The first one was GTA:VC which I ordered from Amazon. I had the option of free shipping and receiving it the Monday after the release, or pricey shipping and getting it day of release. I chose the free option and still got it on day of release.

The game shop I go to doesn't get many customers (it is a big chain though) because the shopping centre it is in just gets old people and students on their dinner break (me). I wasn't going to pre-order it because of that reason, but despite not getting customers it has a line outside waiting for door to open every time a big title is released so I didn't want to take my chances.

I just don't think it's fair how they are handling the 360 version of pre-orders. Some shops here are offering up to 1000 MS points when you pre-order the game. All I got with the PS3 pre-order was a flyer telling me that all customers will be ID'd when they pick the game up, and a GTAIV gift card (nothing on it).

PS: EU is getting a PS3/GTAIV bundle and it is rumoured to be heading to the US so any GTA fans looking to buy a PS3 should wait a bit to see what happens.

hell yeah i pre-ordered it´s gonna be an awesome game just like the other gta games have been.Can´t wailt for april 29,only 3 more weeks lmao....

I already told my college teachers they may aswell just let me go home on the day of release because I just wont be on task at all.

I can't remember any other game that got this much hype for so long. The game has been in development for like 2 or 3 years and is 6 months overdue, people have been waiting for this for a long time now.
