Hopefully it is customizable.

I thought that originally but R2 is more of a trigger so fits better. I realise it isn't as "trigger-like" as the triggers on the 360 controller, but it's as good as we are going to get without those weird addons someone posted a while ago.

The slow motion control for cinematic view will provide for some gameplay videos aswell but I don't see any further need for it.

Well I take that back. I suppose on GTAIV it will be fine because you lock on to people...


I am not the biggest fan of R2 firing in FPS games.

The PS3 triggers are fine until your fingers get sweaty.

Also, If I go to have a piss in between games on COD4, when I return I find myself throwing a 'nade when I pick my controller up because there is no "shield" over the trigger. For some reason, this never happened with the 360 one.

It is because the trigger is slightly curved enough to get pushed down a little bit on a surface and when you picked it up it released it which is my guess.

It happens basically whenever I put my controller down on something which makes me glad I have a spare one, I know it will brake sooner or later. The button hitting whatever surface it is placed on every time can't be good for it.

It's good that they give you a subway map too, it adds to the tour guide style that the manuals are always written in. They should really leave you to find maps and stuff like that, I can't recall ever using the map they provide with the game.

There appears to be a prison in the game. It's called Alderny State Correctional Facility. I'm going to be the first to bet that there is a mission where you have to either break someone out of jail, or break yourself out.

There was a jail break mission on GTAIII so you probably aren't far wrong with that bet.

I also wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of prison riot which is somehow related to the story, maybe a decoy for your big bank job?

I suppose that's true. It's the mission where you blow up the side of the jail house wall to get out that old Yakuza dude.
