Hmmm looks like they are going with obscure songs this time. Like Humble Pie and the Queen song. I'm glad to see them give us something new. I wish they would through in some Hannah Montana. Now that would make my day.

I'm hoping we get to see some alternative music along the lines of those features on Radio X in SA. However, I'd like some other bands to be thrown in the mix such as Chevelle, A Perfect Circle, 311, Alice In Chains, Rise Against, Weezer. Also, I'd love to have a lot of Iron Maiden/ACDC/Def Leppard type songs.

The previews I posted about in the stickied GTAIV thread revealed there will be 14 radio stations on the final game but the sites who got to play the game were told not to publicise all the names.

Only 1 name has been made available which is Vibe, an RNB/Soul station.

The genres that are said to be available are:

Funk
Reggae
Jazz
Dance
Modern Jamaican (Whatever that means)
Pop
Hardcore
Hip Hop

There will also be a "Specific Eastern European station" but there are no details for that.

Either they don't consider it a genre or they don't have one, but they haven't listed a talk show station.

I'm sure they will have talk radio. Seeing that Laslow has been confirmed as voice talent for the game. I can't wait to find out who's going to play the voices of the characters.

I didn't know that, definitely good news!

By the time you have got in a car and found the radio station you like, you will have reached your destination.

I'm glad they have added a lot of station though since I hated being able to easily predict what was on another station while listening to a certain song because the playlists were quite small and simultaneous.

At the same time, there was only so much you can do with a PS2. The next-gen is here and along with it, next-gen games.

wel its a game based in liberty city so i would not expect alot of metal/rock, probably alot of urban and obscure music, but not just becuse its in the city, thats what the style of the games looks like.
