GTA5- PS3 Exclusive

I kind of feel sorry for the people who don't have a PS3, i got both systems so i don't have to worry, but it really sucks for them people who don't have a PS3 :(

I have to say I don't think this is all true, but I hope it is.

If they are exclusively making it for the PS3, it means they don't have to lessen the game content to suit a regular DVD for the 360, and can pretty much put however much they want into the game because of the Blu-Ray. (Captain Obvious statement)

The GTA series has always been Sony's big seller for all their consoles, it's nice to hear that the series is coming "home" to the loyal fans who have loved every damn one.

Again, I don't think it is true but those are my views if it is.

On the real ... I was pissed when I learned that the GTA series was being ported over to the Xbox. Because I felt that Sony was Rockstar's home. I've been a fan of GTA since GTA 2 on the Psone.
(Man that was a hella fun game i hope it gets on the PSN network for download) So if this is true, Rockstar will still be successfull with its juggernaut because of its legions of loyal fans on the Playstation.

It was a joke article in OXM. I have a subscription to OXM and personally read over the article myself. Looks to be a joke and has already been clarified as such. I would be VERY amused to see Rockstar releasing any info whatsoever as to the future of the GTA series before they even get their next game into stores. They run a very tight ship. Besides, they wouldn't have broken contract if they were simply going to run back to Sony. 360 is coming out with a Blu-ray player model in the future I bet, too.

Also, GTA V won't even be thinking of a release until 2010. By that time I'm sure revisions to both systems will have been made.

Microsoft has a firm grip on the GTA series, and the monopoly on all downloadable content reserved for the 360 version of GTA IV is solid proof of the fact. It isn't going anywhere.

This whole thing was a joke/fake/rumor/********...but now some more rumors coming up saying that all future titles of Rockstar could be PS3 exclusive.

Rockstar's contract with Taketwo is running up, and EA is trying to buy Taketwo. Rumor has it that when Rockstar's contract is up, Sony may pick them up.
