If this article is true would they be able to tell microsoft to just throw away every thing they just worked on for GTA?

It sounds kinda iffy to me. Sony, handing out a blank check? They're hardcore money grubbers, well regarding past instances. Not to mention how much money they are losing in their game dept., already. Granted they have tons of other sources of revenue, but I think they keep them all seperate. And also, Microsoft just shelled out big dough to have exclusive content for GTA4. Also, to add, most game developers are straying away from exclusives, why hinder yourself and company growth, when you can release a game on four current systems (360, PS3, Pee; I mean Wii, and PC)?

What remains to be seen is if GTA is relevant or not anymore. "Sandbox" games are so common anymore, it takes a lot for one of them to shine.

Hell, even GTA IV doesn't look all that interesting.

And was this ever actually confirmed as being true and published in the mag? I can't find a real link to it anywhere, and it all seems to have originated at Sonydefenseforce.com (who likes to make stuff up).

It was in the xbox mag. Also, Sonydefenseforce.com is actually run by xbox fanboys, who made the site with the purpose to make sony fanboys look bad. :\

I also agree with you on the GTAIV not looking interesting part. I could care less. But like stated before in this thread, it doesn't necessarily mean GTA5. This is an old thread anyways.

That L.A. Noire does sound interesting. A game like that I could really sink my teeth into, especially if it's new and creative, and not just a re-imaged GTA with more missions.

tbh that particular time i was hyper (well more happy really) because i just spent the night with this girl i really digg... so yeah, was kinda happy.

And sorry i didnt accept the RSV invites legend, but I was playing single player on realistic...
