GTA4 on PS3 or Xbox 360?

When I play Call of Duty 4 online on PS3, around 3/4 of the room has headsets on average. So I don't think there's a lack of headsets on the Playstation network. I bought the Madcatz bluetooth headset that GameSpot carries, and it's $50. You can get some much cheaper than that at some of the cell phone stores. So I pay $50 for a headset, but 360 owners pay $50 to be able to play online, so we pretty much break even.

Well of course i mentioned that besides cod4 becuse its one of the most popular games period. In most of the games played online, most of the people do not have headsets. I played 40 multiplayer games of MGO beta and spoke to 10 people. Warhawk is generally silent, and so is motorstorm and alot of other games i dont feel like mentioning.

Reguardless of how much the live service costs, everyone that buys a premium 360(or a live package) gets a headset, wich is why the mic issue is less of a problem. If you want to compare it like that. A general xbox headset is considerably cheaper and also easier with the less technically inclined.

beleive it or not, there is a big number of people on the psn that dont have a mic and play regularly, either they:
1) cant/wont pay
2) have a blutooth but have pairing issues and have given up
3) lie to themselves about how much they dont need 1 becuse thier cheapos

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out how to make my headset sync every time. But most of the Warhawk guys should have headsets, since they have the Warhawk version that comes with a headset.

i think more people probably downloaded it off the psn than the retail.

Being that I have a PS3, I'm probably going to go with that version.

Not to mention, the visuals and load times are better.

Damn, I just wish this was a PS3 exclusive. If that were the case, we wouldn't have to dumb down the game to fit on a 360 disc.

Its funny that the true Sony fanboys rant and rave about their system. Since it's release it has done nothing special. Time and time and time and time again, developers have said over and over that the PS3 is a pain in the arse to program just like the PS2 was, since they decide not to use standard development tools (not a biggy, but it is when all your developers are creating both pc and 360 games which use the same architecture, dont even get me started on their lineup, which is subpar at best). Im so sick of hearing about how the PS3 has superior graphics. Last I seen, 99% of all articles written for cross-platform games have all said the same thing. 360 has better colors, PS3 has better aliasing. And the sad thing is, all ports to PS3 that have come from games originally on 360 have looked better on the *gasp* 360. Oh yeah, and they played better too. The Blu-ray argument is old, and the extra disc space means nothing more than uncompressed audio at this point in time. Rumors are rumors, GTA will never be a system exclusive, just look at the past, Rockstar isnt a dummy, and why cut out Microsoft when they just paid you millions for exclusive DLC, last time I checked, they wanna make money, exclusives to certain systems dont make them the money they want nor need to make GTA5. Thats just common sense. And to say the 360 doesnt have the capabilities to run Crysis is just dumb, I have an old computer upstairs that I've run the game on, and its specs arent even close to the 360's. Let's not forget its a game built with DirectX 10 architecture, which the 360 is more than capable of running, the PS3 isnt though, seeing as how you would have to rewrite the entire code (which is also the reason why half of the ports from 360 to PS3 sucks, since the developers dont wanna put the time and effort into rewriting their entire game). I have nothing against either system since I have both, but as far as games go that are out now as well as future releases, SONY better find some better and more abundant exclusives, cause 360 is spanking them in the game dep't, not to mention PS3 vs 360 exclusives, PS3 gets stomped like a 4th grader against a senior in highschool. That's a matter of fact, their lineup is stagnant, even for '08.

P.S. I wont even go into the fact that SONY, time and time again was called out for using PGR3 screenshots for GT Prologue, lol...

When looking at which system I should get, I went with the PS3 because of the games they had (and were getting). The portion I quoted is simply your opinion and nothing more. I got the PS3 because of the games. Both systems are similar, though the PS3 will eventually have the edge come time (yes, this is my opinion, don't stain your pants over it).

If I had the 360, the only game I would be playing right now is COD4, which I play on the PS3. I'm not sure if NHL 2K8 is available, I'm sure it is and if that's the case, that would be another I'd be playing. However, for future games (and the fact that most games I like are PS3 exclusive) and the obvious choice of Blu-ray, I got the PS3.

All of this is irrelevant, though, as both the PS3 and 360 play GTA4 at similar rates, though it's been said the PS3 still tops the 360, even after they had to make the delay.

Anyway, I don't really care about bitching and moaning of one system over the other, I just get what I'm going to use more. However, I think we can all find peace in GTA4. I will, anyway with my e-hoes and drunk driving skills (which I hope to obtain).

I wouldn't switch if I were you. PS3 definitely would have those offers. It wouldn't be fair anyway. Keep the PS3 order. Bye!
