Well I was up past 2am last night and I was watching RoboCop on Spike.

I am willing to believe it now we have confirmation from "our own people" but I still find it pointless for them to be doing it.

I was hoping that this week's (I think it's Tuesday?) XBL downtime was something to do with the GTA trailer but I doubt it.

Although it's not hard to wait until Thursday, I hope they get something out sooner.

i found out that for the xbox 360 only that they will have 2 more downloadable episodes for this game only a couple weeks after its release.. lemme tell you im happy i have a 360

Yea, they are scheduled for early 2008 which is just in time for people getting bored with the game, or people just getting it for Christmas.

They stated these "episodes" wouldnt just be an extra car, weapon, character or something simple like that, but it would like an new story line or something.

I hope they do release them on time, and hope they do keep their word by saying it wont just be a couple of cars. Saints Row really pissed me off with that crap.

I just read the last 2 pages of this thread and I'm sorry but I massively confused and it's still early in the morning.
What's going on with the new GTA ??? Are they putting out a Trailer on XBL , is that it ?? What's with the Spike TV stuff, and what the Hell is a GTA Episode ??

• The new GTA is going to be released in October, no information on anything such as setting yet
• The trailer will be available on the GTA 4 site but they havent said anything about it being on XBL
• People said they saw the countdown (found on the GTA 4 site) on Fox and Spike TV a few days ago (Unconfirmed)
• No word on the episodes but they are said to not just be something small like a car, but maybe a few side missions or whatever. They will be exclusive to XBL and will not be available on the PS3

I hope that helps clear some stuff up, the trailer will be available on the GTA 4 site on Thursday (3-29-07) at 6pm EST.

I can confirm this. Lastnight, at exactly 1:18:18, I put it on FX and there it was. It was the countdown just like on the website...I watched the whole thing for the next ~12 minutes. It got me excited about the trailer.

Well the day has finally come where we can all start talking about this game more and more.

The trailer will be "aired" in just over 2 hours on the GTA IV official site aswell as a lot of other freelance sites. I think this is the first time in a long time that I have been even so slightly excited by a game trailer. It's usually GTA that does this to me! I'm a nerd from the time a GTA game is announced up until like 3 months after I get the game.

Many sites warn that you won't be able to access the official site for some time because of all the GTA freaks trying to watch it at the same time. Personally I reccommend either being quick, waiting until everyone has gone to sleep, or waiting until a freelance site gets the trailer up.

I will say this now that I will be uber pissed if I see the setting or something posted on here before I see the trailer!
