yeah, i just got the email from rockstar informing me of the trailers release date. man i can not wait to finally see some details on this game!

Aha, finally something. Rockstar's so secrective about IV, I've been eager for something. Can't wait for this game, definitely picking it up.

But yeah on another note, they should have it where after you beat the game you unlock the cheats, and then you can pause the game and look up a cheat on a list or something, then you dont always have to go to the computer.

Wow, I checked that site like 2 days ago and it was the useless piece of crap it has been for the past 4 months or more! The font style doesn't look like the regular GTA font though, looked a little futuristic to me. Maybe indicating something?

Well, Its nice to see a trailer. I think trailers for GTA games are the best trailers out there. They never try to make the game look like something its not, and its just nice to see actual game play.

I doubt the trailer will reveal the location though, unless its obvious by looking at the city skyline or whatever. If its anywhere in England, I will reserve like 5 copies just because I can guarantee they wont make another English one after it.

Another one of my random thoughts: The newest GTA on shelves is the GTA Trilogy consisting of III, VC, and SA. Doesn't Trilogy mean 3? Thus meaning they are ending an "era" of GTA and starting fresh? Sounds cool to me!

i don't know man, if they make this one english i may have to skip it.

i can't stand playing games where i can't understand a word of what the characters are saying, and it annoys me to no end when i have to sit there in a drunken stupor and try to use context to decipher english slang. do you have any idea how confused i was the first time a british guy ever asked me if he could "bum a fagg"? i damned near laid the guy out. lol

if it's based in england it'll have to be one SEEEEERIOUSLY badass game for me to buy it. i guess i'll find out on the 29th.

There's a game called 'The Getaway' thats just like GTA but in England. Its just like GTA, but not exactly the same....not as good cuz its timed, but decent all the same

It's called "The Getaway". It was an alright game but I didn't like that every mission was timed, one after the other. It would've been so much better had they added a free roam mode or included it in the gameplay like GTA. I don't like being told when to do a mission.

I agree with you, ODIN... it was pretty lame to have all of the missions timed. That, and the fact that it was almost impossible to understand all of the characters... and they were speaking English... well, supposedly.

I hope this story for Grand Theft Auto IV just blows the other ones out of the water. Grand Theft Auto III's was pretty good, just for the fact that it started out like a great Mafia story. Vice City was good because it was about the seedy 80's Miami scene. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas just didn't do much for me. Plus, that whole crap later on in the game with the hippy and the jet packs. I want to play a game with an amazing crime story. One where I don't see the twists coming.

I thought the hippy/jetpack/conspiracy theory angle near the end of San Andreas was kinda humorous... to me, it was Rockstar poking fun at these kind of "serious" things going on in society.

Maybe I'm not doing something right, but I'm not seeing a trailer. All I see is a huge "IV" and a countdown to something....
