I second that Creep. I really think in order to get an achievement you should do it cheat free.

Although some of the things should allow cheats. Such as KG's of explosives used and other things.

i love cheating in single player games, but, even i aggree that cheat codes should disable achievments.

if they include cheats in the game and it disables the achievements then that's more than acceptable. i'll just make a new profile and cheat all i want to practice and then go back and play my real profile legit for the achievments. no big deal.

I'm pretty much the same way.

I love to cheat on GTA games to see all the cool stuff, but I wont use it "to my advantage" if I can help it. The only reason people cheat (other than to do coll stuff) is because they are too damned inpatient to see the "uber cool ending" where it all falls in to place.

I have another profile made anyway that I don't use online, so I will use that one for the fun.

I can honestly say I haven't used a single cheat or even looked at hints to any 360 game I own. Cant say the same for every other console I have owned though. I think I finally beat a game (other than SOCOM 3, and a few others) without cheating at least once. I'm such a nub.

Or they could just make it uncheatable until you beat the game, but some people probably just buy it to fool around with cheats...

Only if it meant 100% completion. That would be very effective.
The easier method would be to allow cheats in single player, but disable them in multiplayer.

There's still no real details on the multiplayer aspect of the game, so it could be a safe bet that it's co-op only, like Crackdown.

The last game I saw anything like that one was Goldeneye for the N64. Even then I'm not sure if you had to wait until the end.

It wouldn't be a bad idea, but maybe make a cheat mode on the game?

Go into cheat mode, and all missions are no longer avilable and you cant save the game. Then go back out and stop being a noob and carry on with your non-noobish missions. Sounds stupid no?

What pisses me off about Rockstar is their websites for GTA games aren't really launched until maybe 2 months (maybe less) before release date. I would at least like some teaser trailers on the marketplace by May! I know they have a site set-up, but it's just a splash page like many of you already know. I need to see some pictures!

I disagree... I'd rather be surprised, and see things for myself than have things "spoiled" for me by a teaser on some website.

Well it looks like we will be getting a trailer sometime at the end of March. After I checked this thread earlier, I went to the official site to see when it was coming out and wa-la I see an update about a trailer on March 29th.
