Grand Theft Auto IV

Well I got to the 13th video and my Internet crapped out so didn't get all the way through it.

If you watch the hi-res versions of the videos, you get a much better feel for how the game looks. I was a bit unpleasantly surprised when I first started watching them, but then I switch to the hi-res versions and they look much better.

I can't watch the RPG video, I just keep replaying the bit where you see the swirls of smoke.

The flaming wheels are doing it for me though, I don't see why fire would shoot out of the wheel arches before a car blows up.

The time between now and getting home on Tuesday will be unbearable. If this game disappoints me, I have already vowed to sell my PS3.

Someone in my class at college is getting it. I did want it but really can't see the point. If anything, I will just try and get him to sell the lock box/key to me separately.

Also, I thought the special edition had a different box art?

Yea i didnt kno it came with all that, when i first reserved in in august they just said the lockbox and the bag, but oh well this is how special editions are suposed to be like.

Gamespot gave the game a 9.5...but an hour later changed it to 10. >_>

Well, I had pre-ordered GTA IV for my brother, didn't tell them that he could pick it up, and didn't go to the midnight launch. I'm going to laugh if when I go to pick it up today, they say that they don't have any copies left, and I'll have to wait until they get their next shipment.

My GTAIV is currently installing, few minutes left to go now!

Quick story: Went to get mine, the guy couldn't find the game so I **** myself thinking they sold out. He eventually found it and I got it. My friend got his Mom to go buy it at the same shop, but they wont sell the game to non-preorder customers until Thursday. He got it at another shop.

I have the chills... YAY!!! The game just by turning it on looks amazing.

Is it just me or is it hard to drive?

I just got mine this morning but the clerk warned me that the 360 version already has some problems. He said that there were already reports of the game freezing during the second cut scene and it subsequently causing the red ring. I'm a bit hesitant to open it up yet. Anyone who has if you could confirm or deny such alleged reports please do so. I'd be content to wait until they have an update before I crack mine open. I have one of the earlier versions of the 360 and I've yet to have a problem so I don't want to start now.
