There has been some more information released via the Official XBox Magazine, OPM Italy, and OPM Australia for this game, some of it we probably already knew or guessed.

- It is thought that you can access ATM machines in the game to "manage funds". This was found as the character walked by an ATM and the message "Access Funds" came up.
- You will be able to hear and maybe even feel the loud music of cars passing by. (Saints Row has it)
- The single player storyline is not available for co-op play.
- It is unconfirmed whether a new series of GTA games will follow this one, but Dan Houser said he would be confident in a setting outside of the US should there be more GTA games.
- The main focus is on GTA 4 so a new PSP title is not being developed yet. (SA Stories)
- When approaching a bus stop, the character can "Control" the bus schedule and it's possible we may be able to use the buses like we do trains on GTA.
- When aiming a weapon, the camera moves to his shoulder and it is possible to strafe left and right while in this view to avoid bullets.
- While walking over a sewage grate in the street, you can see what is below.
- Stealing a car consists of sneaking up to it, elbowing out the window, using injection cables to start it, and then using the car.
- You can climb almost anything such as phone poles, fire escapes, etc.
- Production of the game is currently around 66% complete.
- Hand to hand combat has been redone and feels more "natural" now.
- You can ascend to meetings at the top of skyscrapers and maybe even throw people off the roof.
- Boats are included in the game.
- Liberty City is bigger than any other single city in any other GTA game.
- A GTA version of Central Park will be included.
- There will be some fun weapons and R* arent too concerned about realism with them.
- The radio system, and police behaviour are amongst the things getting overhauled.
Some real nice information there, especially the realism of getting into a car and being able to climb stuff.
