I'm glad the city is smaller than San Andreas. The last installment was just too expansive IMO. More stuff to do , smaller City, sounds good too me.

Agreed. I'm always a fan of quality vs quantity. It's kinda like sleeping with a bunch of skanky broads.

If everything is as rich and detailed and interactive and on the fly as they're spinning it to be, I'll never miss the wild outdoors that surrounded San Andreas.

Personally, I was impressed (and happy) with the size of San Andreas' map... I would have never thought in a million years that they'd be able to pull it all off, but in typical Rockstar fashion, they surprised me.

Perhaps it could have been a bit of a smaller map, but I didn't think it was too bad considering it was three different U.S. cities.

Well, the city will have to be the same size as in GTA:3, so its no surprise that its not as big as San Andreas. I still really want to find GTA3 and get some nostalgia going and get the city down like the back of my hand again.

Rockstar confirmed expansions would not just be a few guns a few cars or 2 missions, it would be a whole new island/city.

So therefore GTA 4 could become even bigger then San Andreas.

As far as the city maps for all three games my favorite has always been Vice City. Not as small as Liberty and not as massive with long winding roads to nowhere like San Andreas.

Would you like a little cheese with your wine?

Allow me to apologize on Rockstar's behalf for the numerous times you must have gotten lost while traversing the "long winding roads to nowhere".

Sorry... I couldn't resist.

Its true about SA! I hated that game (at least after the first week) because I either got lost, or shot down in my plane by the army base.

It just made you cheat for the jetpack!

I liked Crackdown how you could "Extract" at any given time to a supply point, but it wouldnt be realistic in GTA.

The episodic content was never said to be new maps, but more hours of gameplay. That doesnt require new maps.

I just hope they one day make a GTA game where you can fly to the cities in the other GTA games. I liked the few minutes where you flew to LC from SA in that one very gay but interesting mission.

Speak for yourself... I never needed to use a cheat to get the jetpack in San Andreas.

As a matter of fact, I never needed any kind of a cheat to get through any of the GTA games.

I rawk!

New information:

- There is multiplayer, but not a mass multiplayer. I don't think any multiplayer was in the demo. I am guessing something similar to Crackdown.

- By the sound of it, it will be co-op but not limited to the characters being in a certain distance of eachother like they were in SA.

- The also added more to the first part of the game.

- After entering the house, Bellic goes through the kitchen and out of the backdoor. He elbows the window of a car (Glass falls on floor and car seat), hotwires the car, and drives to a bridge.

- The cell phone on the game will recieve phones calls, and messages, serves as an organizer and phone book, and will also have a camera. It is said to have an LCD screen, which isn't anything special. On the demo there was "City Contact", "Docks Friend", and "Cab Contact".

- There are not going to be random objects such as roller blades, unicylces, jet packs, or planes. (As already said)

- Apparantly R* have consulted with crime inspectors and criminals who have said crime isnt as easy to commit now-a-days so policing will be different in the game. More people will get getting arrested so they.

And a few pieces from yesterday:

- What is known as DUMBO in New York will be known as BOABO in GTAIV.

- The Statue of Liberty is "The Statue of Happiness" in the game.

- When he got in the car, the radio was turned on and music played. Nothing unusual about that but the soundtrack is still "Secret". At least for now.

Information compiled in my own words/opinions from Wikipedia and GTA4.net
