You could shoot birds in Vice City, and also that plane that carries the sign over the beach. You just see them slowly gliding to the ground.

Maybe they got licensing from car manufacturers and we will have real cars? If we do, it will be like the Getaway on crack.

For those who want to quickly see it, put G4 on right now! They are about to show it.

Well now since everyone here has pretty much seen it. I gotta say that the city is definately New York, and that they have pretty much have changed all the signage. For example the Metlife sign has been changed to the said title earlier, Getta Life.

The tell tale signs of it being in New York are the Chrysler building, the Stock Exchange ticker, and Times Square.

the staue of liberty was pretty much a dead give-a-way for me.

i'm just glad it's not set over in europe like everybody was suspecting.

I think it's obvious its New York, those who didn't recognize that were probably the Europeans who were expecting to see the Eiffel Tower or some crap. (I know I'm a European but I'm not obnoxious and I know more than my own country)

I just think the storyline seems crappy already; a Russian in New York. Where's the fun in that?

The symbolism of the Statue of Liberty and a Russian guy trying to escape his past life of crime, is what matters. It's reminiscent of Scarface, and the symbol of immigration with the SoL.

The one thing missing from the entire trailer was any trace of a weapon.
THERE WERE NO GUNS! THERE WERE NO EXPLOSIONS! Ahhhhh!

At least the russian guy's hand didn't look like a block, and more like seperate fingers.

I guess maybe they are trying to stray away from the violence that created so much publicity for them in the previous games and make a very long and good story to keep the player interested until the next one. Because it may be me but the 7 hour police chases and killing sprees were really fun the first few times, but got old and stingy after a while.

I just hope this game goes back to its roots of the Mob/Gang connections of Vice City and 3 had. Don't get me wrong though I really like GTA: SA more than any other one, but stories keep me playing a game and 3 and Vice City had a really good story. San Andreas felt more like "Here's a really good sandbox game with an average story, but it comes with great features."
