That is really all there is to it.

Only thing I am upset about, is I have to wait even longer to play the game on the PS3, just because of this multiplatform issue.

I don't give a **** if they release it on the 360, but at least release the PS3 version when it is done. I don't want to wait around until the 360 version gets FULLY developed.

Now I won't enjoy FF13 for another 2 years from now, it seems.

OME6A, this isn't 2006! The install base of the two systems are actually close to each other.

Yah, but your 4 million to 16 million example was stupidly exaggerated.

By the time FF13 comes out, hell, who knows, PS3 might even be ahead. They have been steadily outselling the 360 worldwide every single month.

Still, it's the same principle: Would you rather sell to PS3 only (currently 13.8 mil units) or both systems (over 33 mil, so 4 mil to 16 mil was not really exaggerated. Innacurate, yeah.)?

But the fact the the game is not going to be out for awhile, and isn't going to be released now. With current sales trends, and if FF13 remained exclusive, more PS3s would have been sold by the time it came out. That IS a system seller. Obviously they will sell more when being released on BOTH consoles, but I feel that the PS3 would have been more than enough by the time the game was actually released.

Also considering the fact that there is almost no exclusive support from Square. 360 gets FF13, So4 (exclusive), IU (Exclusive), LR (timed exclusive). At least FF13 for the PS3 as a timed exclusive would be nice, but probably with the check that MS wrote, it probably said they couldn't do that.
