I don't think Bad Company will be great. After viewing screen shots, videos, and interviews I was really happy about the game because of the frostbite engine which allows you to blow up anything around you. Than a month later I got the play the Beta and it wasn't even that great. I know its only a beta, but it was lacking many things such as prone position. People took way too many shots, not many people used voice communication etc. I don't even think they released an e-mail for people to report glitches or comments about the game. I will definitely not buy this game when it first comes out.
The Next Big Games:
Gears of War 2
Splinter Cell: Conviction(held back till 09 possibly 10)
Soul Caliber
I agree... and I think it's blatantly obvious that MGS4 will be the next "big" game.
But on the other hand, if you look at websites like eBay, a game like Wii Fit (of all games) is fetching close to double what it normally sells at retail locations.

Hmm. As always it's the drought time of year. Next games for me are probably Indy and Soul Calibur, although I'll get the latter on PS3. I doubt I'll get them at full price though, I don't want them that badly. Someone had Ghostbusters down - when's that out? That'll be on my must have list!
Oh, StrictlyStyles - is Sonic really as bad as all that?
That reminds me - that new 2D/3D Sonic game looks interesting. I hope it's good - we've been let down by him before..

I'll be passing on Lego Indy: No Online Co-Op = No Sale Ninja Gaiden: I've heard of frustrating Camera angels which is always an instant game killer for me.
I think I'll be getting the Metal Gear game.
