Update Today.
Just started up my 360 to listen to some music and an update was available. I googled around and found this;

Now one line in that caught my eye, as you can see it is highlighted in red.
I wonder what that's about? Something for the GTA4 DLC? Something for the Spring Dashboard Update?

I think it might have something to do with the future service of Downloading movies.

I could've sworn I read somewhere that Microsoft were merging with Netflix and they were going to do some sort of major movie downloading overhaul...something to that fact....IDK.

It is just regular server maintanence to boost the servers so it can handle the upcoming massive update. They have 2 huge updates a year, a Spring and Fall update don't they?

Netflix is currently surveying people (or at least was at the end of March) on what they thought about getting movies streamed through the Xbox 360 to your TV. As far as I know, they have not yet stated whether it is going to happen or not. It's a great possibility, however, and I think we will see it at some point in time. |
